I wrote this third and last story under Del Gallego Series while carrying the hope of forgiving myself. Sa mga oras na pakiramdam ko hindi ako sapat, sa mga pagkakataon na mas pinili kong sumuko kaysa lumaban, at sa mga panahon galit ako dahil sa mga pagkabigo, pinapatawad ko ang aking sarili. I should have been kinder to myself rather than cruel. I should have been more self loving than self hating.
I just realized that at the end of the day, it's only me who knows myself better and it's only me who can understand myself best. Hindi ang iba. Kaya sa mga naririto, piliin niyo rin patawarin ang inyong mga sarili sa kabila ng mga naging kakulangan niyo. Hindi niyo kailangan magalit, sisihin, at pilitin ang sarili niyo sa mga bagay-bagay. Allow yourself sometimes to recognize your shortcomings because you don't owe perfection to the world. Tao ka lang din naman.
