Pearl was sitting outside her house on the ground playing her guitar because it was her favorite thing to do it was calming and she was very good at it.
While playing a familiar voice said "hello Pearl" and without looking up Pearl replied "hello Gem" "whatcha doing?" Gem said with her cheerful tone "oh nothing much just playing the guitar" Pearl replied "oh I didn't know you could play" Gem said sitting next to Pearl "I could always play from the day I was old enough" Pearl said calmly "could you play a song for me?" Gem asked
Pearl took a deep breath and started plucking strings and humming to the beat she played

Pearl singing was beautiful and calm *woah who thought reckless Pearl could become so patient* Gem thought and she was right some times Pearl could be reckless and always looking for a fight but this Pearl was different she was peaceful, calm and gentle, did Gem mind, no she didn't she loved both Pearls even if one if more nice than the other.
At some point the song ended "aw man" Gem said sadly "could you play another?" she asked, Pearl giggled "sorry Gem I can't no can do my fingers hurt" Pearl said putting the guitar down on the grass "well maybe you can play some other time like during one of our wither rose meeting" Gem said excited, she really wanted to hear her play again "you sure?" Pearl said nervously "I have never played in front of other people"
"Oh come on where is the brave Pearl I know" Gem said, Pear laid down on the grass and so did Gem now they were both cloud gazing while talking "it's just what if they don't like it" Pearl said, Gem faced her "we both know you sound amazing" Gem said comforting her "well, I you think I can do it then I guess I can try" Pearl said, Gem jumped up with excitement "after that maybe you could play for the other empires oh you should host an event where ever-" but Gem was cut off "slow your roll big hat baby steps" Pearl said
"right...... baby steps"
Just like that they spent there entire afternoon cloud gazing and talking.
