~Minho X Male Reader~

I came up from the box two days ago, and besides getting the tour and trying out for different jobs I felt very lonely in the glade. I wasn't the best at making friends in the glade, and I wanted that to change, but everyone was already in their own group. I sat at lunch quietly pushing around the potatoes on my tray silently when a handsome guy plops down in front of me. "Hi there greenie," he said with a wink causing me to instantly blush at the confidence and flirty nature of his wink.

"Hi," I say to him and he laughs slightly at my quiet tone "I'm not gonna bite you greenie, well unless you want me to," he says causing my blush to deepen. Minho I later found out was his name, and he never let up on his flirting. We shortly became best friends, and he helped me get to know some of the other guys in the glade such as Newt, Chuck, and Ben. I had gotten a job as a track hoe with Newt and every day Minho would come by after he went to the map room. "Minho likes you, you know," Newt says as my eyes drift to the maze again waiting for him to run out.

I turn back to Newt horrified that he would say something like that when there was no way it could be true. I shake my head "N-no he doesn't," I say looking back down at the garden trying hard to focus back on my work. He shrugs "I don't see him flirting with any of the other boys since you've come up," Newt tells me and I feel the blush spread to the top of my ears and I have to push the notion out of my head. 

I have to fight not to look back over towards the maze for the remainder of the time, and when Minho runs over he quickly snakes his arms around my middle and gives me a hug from behind my blush is deeper than usual. "Aww, look at the cute couple," Newt says looking over at us and I turn my head trying to hide the obvious blush while Minho doesn't say anything. "How've you been today (N/n) *nickname*," Minho ask me pulling back from the hug. 

I shrug looking anywhere but Minho, not able to look at his strong figure and handsome face after what Newt said. "Good, I finally think I got the stubborn weed out of the basil plot," I say turning my gaze to the basil. Minho hummed and grabbed my hand pulling me toward the mess hall for dinner. "You look hot today (Y/n)," Minho says to me as we walk and my blush goes a violent red color. Minho laughs at me deep blush "I mean temperature," he tells me coming closer to my ear sending a chill down my spine.

When we sit down for dinner I can't help but look over at him numerous times as we ate. What the hell was he doing? Was Newt right or was Minho just shucking crazy like this? How could he say these things to me and act so causal? Was it all a joke? My eyes fell from my gaze on him at that, of course, it was... Minho thought it was funny to get me all stirred up. "Minho likes you," Newt's words echo in my head, and an idea came into place in my mind.

Minho places his arm around my shoulders as we begin to leave the mess hall to go towards the homestead. "Hey, Min can I talk to you?" I asked him raising an eyebrow and Minho looks at me a smile plastered onto his face per usual. "Of course (N/n)," he tells me and I grab his hand initiating physical contact with him for the first time, and I swear I see his tough mask falter slightly. 

I pull him to the edge of the deadhead just deep enough to give us some privacy. His dark deep brown eyes look into mine and his hand rubs my shoulder slightly, he's about to open his mouth to say something, but I don't give him the time. I grab the collar of his shirt and smash my lips to his, and I know this could ruin our friendship, so I take in every moment. I'm enjoying the moment so much that I barely notice when he wraps his arms around me and kisses me back. 

When we finally pull back he looks at me with his handsome sly smile. "I've been wanting to kiss you like that for a while," he tells me his thumb rubbing my cheek I laugh and he looks at me confused "What's so funny?" he asks. I shake my head "I just wished I had done that sooner," I tell him. He smiles and kisses me again, and I couldn't believe I had gotten this lucky.
