Time to get ready for high school. Jaden woke up through his annoying alarm clock, which he accidentally smashed once as he didn't have full control over his powers. Happens.
After getting ready he went down to the living room to eat. His dad was already awake and had made the breakfast.
"Good morning dad.", said Jaden.
"Morning boy.", answered Varun.
"Where is mom?", asked Jaden.
"She isn't feeling well. That's why I told her to keep sleeping. She needs time.", said Varun.
"She still keeps thinking about him, right?", asked Jaden further.
"Yes, but you don't need to worry about those things. She will be fine."
"Dad. What are going to do if you find him after it's too late for him?", asked Jaden carefully.
"A question for another day.", said Varun with a smile. But he was just hiding his sadness.

Jaden entered the school, and the entrance was full of other students. He was especially looking at all the single girls there. There were plenty of them, but none of them was made for him. They all would ignore him.
But even after he got hurt so much, deep down, he only got eyes for Stacy. Seeing her everyday just made his day. But he got his rules too. He wouldn't do anything to show his love towards her. He was sitting in his class, which was full of students. But there were way more girls than boys.
"Hey, have you heard that. A serial killer is making his moves in Frankfurt.", said one boy. The whole room paid attention.
"It is stated in this newspaper. There has been two incidents last week, where students were found death in school toilets. In both cases it was the boy's toilet. The bodies of the victims were crushed in a brutal way. There were no eyewitnesses. The Chief of police said that there is nothing to worry about and that are going to catch the criminal soon."
Everyone was devastated after hearing this. A serial killer who kills students as it seems.
