Adi's POV
A week of running, evading and hiding had passed. I did everything I could to avoid Talliah's inquiry on things that happened last December five years ago. I started swiping on my phone in order to message Talliah about her whereabouts.
@Adi_study: Anong oras ka pupunta kanila, Pres?
@Tali.yah: Still fixing my makeup.
@Adi_study: Magme-makeup ka pa? Dim lit naman dun kasi semi-formal party lang.
@Tali.yah: Paki-alam mo ba. Just wait for me on the entrance, baka nandun na forever ko kaya dapat maganda lang ako.
Geez, I thought she's smitten with her childhood 'acquaintance'. Now she wants to look for the man of her dreams? How could she do that?
"Adi, Anong oras ka uuwi?" My dad looked at me through the car's mirror.
"I don't know, Dad." I replied while stuffing my phone in my hand bag.
"Remember, do not drink too much and call us if you need anything."
"Yes, dad. I'll update you and Mom so you don't need to worry too much."
Dad nodded at my reply. He opened the car's stereo so that we won't be bored all along the trip. Pres' house is a little far from ours, idagdag pa na rush hour.
