You sighed while looking in the mirror. Ran was supposed to pick you up in 20 minutes. You were invited to a dinner party at Mikey's apartment and you were unsure of what to wear. Ran had told you that it wasn't formal, so you already excluded all your fancy dresses. Right now you were stuck between two outfits. The first was a blue sweatshirt with a black skirt to go underneath. You would wear some simply silver jewelry with it. The other outfit was ripped jeans with fishnets and a black tank top with a green flannel over it. You sighed while launching yourself onto the couch. You closed your eyes, thinking about what to choose. Rays of sunshine were planted on your body and when you noticed, you decided to put on the blue sweatshirt and the black skirt. Just when you had gotten the last ring on your finger, you heard a honk from outside. You went to your small balcony and waved at Ran, who was accompanied by Rindou in his car. Swiftly, you kissed Daisy goodbye and put on your shoes.

"Hey there princess." Ran smiled at you when you sat in the car. You greeted him and waved at Rindou. He rolled his eyes slightly and you scoffed in return. Both brothers were wearing casual but nice outfits. Ran started driving and you looked to your right, seeing your apartment complex fade into the background, soon to disappear fully. First then did you look to your other side. A bag with two bottles in it. Alcohol, most likely wine of some sort. If you were right, Ran had once told you that he enjoyed wine. Red wine especially. One time he went on a long talk about the finest wines and how they were significant in a lot of countries throughout history. To be quite frank, you found it a little boring, but you didn't mind it. In the end you enjoyed Ran talking about it. He was clearly very dedicated to it, which made you calm. You could just sit and listen, get to know him a little better. Sanzu and Ran were probably the ones you knew the most about.

"Who is coming today?" You asked, getting eye contact with Ran in the mirror.

"You know... It's going to be the three of us, Mikey, Sanzu, Kakucho, Kokonoi and Akashi." You nodded, as Ran had turned his eyes towards the road. He was driving after all. However, that let you to gain eye contact with Rindou instead. His eyes were as cold as ever, yet you kept the eye contact through the mirror for a long time. You got to really look at him. His eyes were dim. Not an all consuming void like Mikey's, but they were dark and distant, just like Rindou himself. You had no idea what had let him to dye his hair the way he did, as it didn't correlate to anything else about him. Of course it could just be because he liked the colour, but was that truly the reason? If it had been any other guy you might have asked, but Rindou never seemed to want to answer your questions and you two did just fine ignoring each other. Yet, as of right now he was staring intensely at you, to the point where you furrowed your brows. He turned his head, and you were now left to question what the fuck happened, if anything did. As a respond to that thought you shook your head and began looking out of the car window. You didn't know where Mikey's apartment was located, so you had no sense of knowing when you guys would be there. You looked at the time displayed on your phone screen and sighed quietly. For a second you debating asking when you were there, but Ran got to answer that for you when he pulled into an apartment complex. It was fancy. Very fancy actually. That didn't surprise you, since it was obvious that these guys had money. Mikey seemed to be in the one charge, of the group at least, so he should be the one who had the biggest amount of money. Right? Maybe you were expecting a mansion, but in your head Mikey wasn't the most materialistic person you could think of. That was probably Ran, maybe Sanzu. The car parked in a somewhat big parking lot, which was a bit empty, only a few other cars shared it. You paid it no mind, and opened your seatbelt. Rindou was out first and before you had opened your door, he was on the other side getting the bag with the two bottles. Your eyes connected again and you smiled, but he either didn't see it or didn't care. Usually it was the second one. You sighed and got out of the car. In your hands were the hostess gift you had bought for Mikey. A box of cookies for him since he seemed to like them so much when he was visiting. It was wrapped in a light green fabric with a silver ribbon. Ran showed the way for you and you followed. Between the walk from the car to the apartment, you quickly gazed at your surroundings. It was a nice area. Nicer than the one you lived in at least. Ran ringed the button where it said 'M. Sano'.
Mikey Sano. You thought. Mikey is a strange name to have in Japan. You didn't get to finish your thought as the three of you were buzzed into the apartment building. In silence you followed Ran with Rindou behind you. You were oblivious to the fact that he was staring at you. A short smile curled on his lip as he admired the way your figure swayed, only to immediately snap out of it.
Get yourself together...
The door was opened by Kakucho, who smiled at all three of you. He greeted you and so you were welcomed into Mikey's apartment. In the living room you were met by Sanzu, Kokonoi, Akashi and now Ran joined them on the couch. You noticed how every one of them was wearing something somewhat casual, but still expensive-looking clothes, except Kokonoi who was apparently dressed up a bit nicer than all the others.

"Who forgot to tell Koko the dress code?" Ran exclaimed. You shared a laugh with most of them. Seeing how Kokonoi got annoyed by the comment, only made it funnier. Soon you noticed you couldn't see Mikey anywhere. You turned to Kakucho and asked him. He pointed you towards the kitchen and sure enough that's where you found him.

"They didn't let you cook, right?"

Mikey almost created a tornado when turning his head and you could've sworn his hair would have made a swoosh sound if it was just a bit longer. A smile grew across his face, yet his eyes stayed dead. You waved your hand, as you giggled at your joke. Mikey seemed to understand it. He didn't mind his terrible cooking skills to become an inside joke between you two. Something you two, and only you two, could share... He liked that thought. He liked the thought of you. A mumbled "Hey" came from his mouth, not sure what to say to you. He was taken a bit away by your appearance, even though you weren't dressed up at all. Yet it got him thinking. Thinking about how you would look on a Sunday morning, in his t-shirt, in his bed. In his everything. You were his. Sadly, to him, not his alone, but he was fine with that sacrifice. He knew he'd get you the most, since he was the boss. As much as Bonten belonged to him, so did you. He leaned towards you, with everything but innocent intentions in his head, yet he was stopped by a voice calling for dinner. You smiled at him, grabbing his wrist to pull him into the dining room.
