Fox P.O.V

Sensei brought us to a junk yard and started talking to us while standing on top of a few cars.

"You've gotten stronger, tougher, faster. You've done your best. You're ready for this tournament, am I right?"
"Yes sensei!" The class agreed, but I didn't.

"No sensei!"

"Yes, Fox!" Sensei says before throwing a beer bottle at the ground infront of us.
"Your best ain't shit! If you wanna win the All Valley Under-18 Tournament, you gotta give me better than your best. Which is why from now on, you're gonna get my worst. Do you understand?" Sensei asked.

"Yes sensei!"

"Are you losers?"

"No sensei!"

"Are you nerds?"

"No sensei!"

"Are you sure?"

"No sensei!" I just facepalmed at the stupidity of the rest of the class.

"Move those feet. Go!" Sensei says as everyone runs through the tires. "Your enemies are all around you. Destroy them!" He says giving us very dangerous weapons and high-powered tools to destroy the cars with. Hawk and I broke every window on one of the cars. I even ripped a door of a car and dropped it on another with Miguel.

"You gotta be hungry. You guys hungry?" He asked while handing us beef jerky.

"Yes Sensei."

"Good. Because so are they." Sensei said before blowing a.... dog whistle. The dogs started running towards everybody.
"Oh shit!" Then everyone scrambled, looking for a place to get away from the dogs.
"Don't be afraid! They smell fear!" Sensei said. I saw everyone else on a car, except for Hawk. Hawk came running towards my car and was about to get his ass, literal ass, bitten by one of those dogs, But I pulled him up just in time.

"Holy crap. Thanks man." Hawk said gratefully.

"No problem dude." I brushed it off.

Miguel was punching the life out of one of those dummies.

"Okay ok! That's enough. Save some for the tournament." Sensei said. "Why are we the only one's here sensei?" Miguel asked, pointing to him and I.

"Cause let's face it, you two are the only chance I got at winning this thing." Sensei admitted.

"So what, we're your best students?" I asked with a sly smirk.

"Don't flatter yourselves. Have you seen the others?" Miguel ignored Sensei and went over to his duffel bag and pulled out his phone and started chuckling.

"What's so funny?" Sensei asked him. "Oh, nothing, just this funny picture my girlfriend posted." He said while showing Sensei and I. I knew Miguel just made a mistake by showing Sensei. I guess I'm the only one who knows the history between Sensei and Daniel LaRusso.
S
"Wait a second (Sensei says before snatching the phone out of Miguels hand) Is that Daniel Larussos daughter?" Sensei asked.

"Yeah, you know Samantha?" Miguel asked Sensei.

"Your dating a Larusso?" Sensei asked in disbelief.

"Am I seriously the only student in this dojo that know anything about what's happened in the Valley around the '80s?" I asked genuinely. Miguel just nodded and I sighed.

"Yeah, why? Is something wrong?" Miguel asked. "Daniel Larusso and Sensei have a lot of beef. It all started 30+ years ago." I said as Sensei nodded at me and told us to follow him outside as Him and Miguel sat on the curb while I leaned on a pillar behind them.
