Chapter 36

Nicki's POV
1 hour later

"Kelly please make sure Bey is okay, I wouldn't leave her but this is important.", I said putting the clip in my gun.

"Nic I promise you I got this, you just make sure you come back in an expeditious manner because I don't know how long she's gonna be sleep.", she said rubbing Bey's back.

"Trust me I think she's just as safe with you as she is with me.", I laughed putting on my jacket. I said my goodbyes to them and gave Beyoncé a kiss before stepping out the room. I pulled out my phone and called Rihanna.

"Rih you found him?", I asked.

"Damn it, I told Melissa not to say shit!", she said.

"Answer my damn question Robyn.", I said stepping off the elevator.

"Yes Onika I found him, but there's a problem.", she said. I rolled my eyes as I finally got to my Range and I quickly pulled off.

"What now?", I asked.

"He's half dead, from the looks of it somebody did the deeds for us.", she said.

"Where are you?", I asked.

"You know the warehouse in the east.", she said.

"I'll be there in a minute.", I said before hanging up.

Rihanna's PoV

Nicki hung up the phone not saying anything at all. She definitely was still mad about earlier, but that apology would have to wait.

I looked as Jays body hung like a dart board. His hands and feet both nailed to the wall.

"Bird the people across the street say they saw a Hispanic woman and Jay come in the warehouse about 3 hours ago.", said Wayne coming next to me.

"So Erica did this to you Jay?", I asked.

His eyes were damn near swollen shut and I could see him slowly fading away. I sent a shot up causing him to jump and the nails to rip more through his skin.

The door opened and Nicki walked in. The look on her face was nothing nice and I honestly didn't even wanna be there when she opened her mouth.

"Nicki who's with Bey?", asked Wayne.

"Kelly and Melissa are still at the hospital and Mama Tina is there too.", she said taking off her coat.

"Wait Mama Tina here?", I asked.

"Yeah and she's not even in a Christian mood.", she said.

"Okay well it looks like Erica did this, the warehouse across the street was opening and a man saw Erica and him walk in about 3 hours ago.", said Wayne.

"Okay when did Erica come out?", asked Nicki.

"I didn't ask that.", he said.

"Wayne the bitch could still be in here!", she yelled.

"Baby she's not in here, I checked up and down.", I said.

"You positive because that bitch is just as sneaky as Cyn.", she said.

"Onika I checked the damn warehouse, nobody is here.", I said.

"Don't start Rihanna.", she said with an eye roll.

"Imma go check the outside perimeter.", said Wayne before running out.

"Why would she do this, she literally worked with the man to get Bey but then she turns and kills him?", asked Nicki while slowly approaching Jay.

"I don't know but the only thing that matters is that we have him.", I said.

"Can he talk?", asked Nicki.

"Hell if I know, all I know is he is here.", I said.

"Well I guess we'll have to find out.", she said pulling out her glock and shooting him in the arm.

His mouth opened to let out a wail.

"His tongue is gone.", I said looking in disgust.

"Welp then there goes our information.", said Nicki before shooting him right between the eyes. She tucked her gun before grabbing her coat and walking out the warehouse. I grabbed my things and jogged behind her barely catching her before she pulled off.

I opened the passenger door getting in and throwing my stuff in the back.

I rolled down the window and threw my keys to Wayne who stood confused.

"Take care of my baby.", I said.

"Okay then.", he said before Nicki pulled off.

"Explain to me why you're in my car?", she asked.

"Nicki tell me what's wrong with you.", I said turning to look at her.

"What's wrong with me, is you!", she said. I scrunched my face up with confusion.

"What the hell did I do?", I asked.

"The shit you pulled at the hospital was unacceptable, our fucking wife is mentally and physically scarred and you wanna act a damn fool!", she exclaimed.

"No Robyn you were doing too fucking much, and then for you to sit there and talk to me like I'm one of your fucking friends is what really pissed me the fuck off!", she said while speeding up.

"Nicki you're gonna kill us.", I said watching as she sped past her 3rd red light. She soon slowed down and turned into the parking lot but before she opened the door I grabbed her arm pulling her into me.

"Look at me.", I said as she looked everywhere but at me.

"Rihanna let me the fuck go.", she said pushing me.

"Onika look at me and stop being stubborn.", I said gripping her chin.

"Now I'm sorry okay, my mind wasn't right when I stepped into that hospital I felt like it was my fault Bey was put in harm's way, I had to no business talking to you like that especially with you already being in distress about Bey, forgive me.", I said holding eye contact.

Her eyes began to water and she was soon bawling her eyes out on my shoulder. I didn't even have words to say, I just rubbed her back and let her get it all out.

My anger deep down inside was rising but I wasn't gonna let it get the best of me right now, I wanted it to be at its peak when I caught Erica's ass.

Once Nicki was put together she got out the truck and before we could even step in the hospital Mama Tina was on my ass.

"Lemme tell you something Robyn, next time my daughter attempts to go somewhere by herself, you or Nicki betta be on her like white on rice, I don't give a damn if she wants to take a damn shower, you betta be the damn curtain and watch ha ass, you understand me?", she asked.

"Yes ma'am.", I said frantically.

"Good, now give me a hug, I could only imagine what you two are going through.", she said engulfing us in her arms.

I just looked at Nicki with confusion.

It's gonna be a long 3 days.

Lord Jesus I'm ready for this book to be over. I love writing it but I just got too many damn stories.
