Amaya was not in her senses when she reached her home. She had very high fever and slept as soon as she reached home. Sneha was in the hospital due to stress which she went through during Rachita's kidnapping. She was absolutely fine and recovering. She doesn't know any thing going on in Mumbai in regard to Rishi's case and Amaya decided to not tell anyone else as well. And since that day Amaya is feeling suffocated and restless.
She is tired of problems but they were thundering upon everyone in the family; whether it be anyone! Her dad was already surrounded by problems and her mom was dealing with her sickness. Rachita is handling Rama and this forced marriage whereas Jazz is so fragile that she is unable to handle all this thus affecting her studies. And Amaya... her professional life, love life all are at stake. She wanted this to end. Love... Mantu... She misses Mantu, his presence, his voice, his way of unintentionally touching her hand. She went towards her cupboard and opened her special box where she kept his favourite special watch but it was empty. She immediately realised that all is not same now. She hugged the box tightly as she started thinking about the night when it all started.
A WEEK BEFORE
"Uma, this sabzi is very tasty. Give me the recipe of this, I'll also try making it.", said Mantu as he ate his dinner. "Why! I am here only na! Whenever you want me to make it, I'll cook for you." "Arre, nahi; I never told you, I have already started groom-hunting for you. I don't want any delay in your marriage. In 6 Months you are finishing your college and after that I'll marry you off.", said Mantu as he continued eating. Uma was pissed. She concluded that, just keeping away Amaya is not enough. He needs to fall in love with her as well. BUT HOW!? Just when she wanted to say something, she felt a knock on door. The knock was continuous and very loud. Uma was about to open the door but Mantu told Uma to clear the utensils and he will open the door. She agreed and went inside the kitchen. Mantu was thinking who must be there at this odd time of 12am. Mantu opens the door only to see a furious, sweaty, teary Amaya. He couldn't even react and Amaya grabbed his neck and crashed him into the wall as she shouted, "Where is my di, where is my Rachi di? I know you and Rama have kidnapped her. How could you...how could you... How could you do this to us???".
Her hands slipped to his shirt's collar and she shouted. Tears were flowing from her eyes as she cried. She was wearing a jeans with a crop top, her hair kept lose, she was wearing a bag pack certainly showing that she jst came from her trip to Mumbai. Mantu too was hurt by whatever happened before she went to Mumbai! He was already hurt by the fact that she sent that watch and dress with Jazz instead of coming to his home and apologizing to him for not coming to his Pooja. And when he got know about her trip to Mumbai, he was hurt by the fact that she never bothered to tell him that. That anger, that love, that desperation, that anticipation, that loneliness, and that emptiness flowed through an extreme and harsh anger. He quickly pushed her hands away from his neck and collar and crashed her in the wall as he shouted, "How on the earth should I know where your di is. And Rana has nothing to do with it. He just got his discharge from the hospital. Do you even remember what happened to him! Your Rudra beat him, mercilessly in front of whole Banaras. How will you remember that. Uma was right, I was a stupid who fell into the trap of you all city girls. She was right, all are same, stone-hearted, cold, mean people. And yes I and Rama know nothing about the whereabouts of your darling sister. Do u get that!?? Miss Amaya MATHUR."
Amaya's heart sank to the floor as she heard and understood what he said. He believes Uma more than her. What about the friendship they shared. What about the promises they made!? The memories and the understanding they had? All that is gone like none of it mattered to him. But right now she has to be strong, she has to find her sister, otherwise Nanaji will finish their lives. Amaya removed her tears and looked straight in his eyes. "Ahh ha-ha how stupid of me to think that at least out of everyone in Banaras you understood me, that... that you are different...you will never say that I am heartless. But I was wrong, so wrong na Mantu", she wiped her lone tear as she continued, "if I would have been heartless, I would have not care about my father’s innocence, I would not take a flight to search my di. For you it's so easy to say that. To judge. To assume. But this time I'll not explain myself. Let it be. And in regard to that incident with Rama, don't lie Mantu that you didn't know that Rama is faking his illness, don't tell me you didn't know that he followed Rachi di to her classes, don’t tell me you didn't know that he called Rachi di and lied that he is sick and took her to his bedroom.

She is your responsibility na! Tell me." Mantu was quiet, he never knew that happened. Rama didn't tell him that. And at this point she can't lie, she is visibly not in that state. "Rudra still warned Rama Mantu, trust me he did. Rachi di can never lie to me. She told me this when we were alone. It was Rama who provoked Rudra. I know that Rudra was not completely right. Both were guilty but without listening and knowing the other side of the scenario, you just beat him and that was not right. It was not right at all. I was wrong na! I created havoc in your life na, I promise I'll never ever interfere in a scene where your great, amazing Nanaji is there. Or even you for that matter.”, said Mantu angrily. He was angry on Rama for not telling him the complete truth but he didn't know why he shouted at Amaya.

You are someone else and I don't know you, I don't trust you. Between if you didn't know!? Rama called Rachi di today, I was on Jazz's phone call when he called her and I listened that he said that he will do anything to gain her back!! And after that Rachi di is lost. What do u expect me to think or act!!!", said Amaya frantically as tears fell from her eyes and she took support of the wall. "Aye chudail, what do u think of yourself na. You...",said Uma but Amaya spoke in between, "Uma I'm sorry, but I don't want to fight with you. I am done. Please leave me alone. I will leave you alone, but I need to find my Rachi di, I can't bear to lose her after my...my dad. Otherwise I don't know what will I do to you and your family." "What will you do haan! What will you do to chiklu. Tell me Amaya.”, said Mantu as his heart raced hearing that. "Nothing...I would rather spoil and finish your life than that of a small child's but yes Mr. Mantu remind your dearest friend Mr. Ramashray Gupta to stay in his limits otherwise this time it will be me who will break his legs. I don't need anyone to do that and I'm not afraid of anyone."
Amaya picked up her bag and said, "You have always seen a good Amaya Mantu, now this time you will see the evil me and trust me it's gonna be hell of a ride." Amaya started walking towards the door as she turned towards Uma and said, "You win Uma, and there's your trophy", pointing towards Mantu. As she turns away again her phone rang and it was of Jazz's, Amu picked up the call and quickly said, "Did Rachi di reached home!? Tell me Jazz, everything is fine na!?" "Yess Amaya Rachi di reached home but… but" "what but Jazz tell me quickly!" "Mom has fainted and we are taking her to the hospital, come fast" "What!? Mom!? Has fainted?”, said Amaya as she ran out of his home. And there stood Mantu, heartbroken yet again.
