TANNER POV

Shit shit shit. She ran taking Storm with her.

"Im Tanner her real friend" I introduced my self to Dallas

Dallas nodded,

The next day we still had no contact with Alex. I found out that Dallas is Deputy Dallas, meaning he is a cop and is a deputy. Dallas contacted towns around Ohakune to watch out for a girl with a black horse and report to him immediately as soon as they see her. We even contacted Kaleb too see if she is up Mt Ruapehu, he said no and haven't seen her since yesterday after leaving here. Meaning she could be anywhere.

Somehow her disappearance came onto the news and people are told to look out for her. I heard my ring tone and i grabbed my phone and answered it, hoping that there is news about Alex.

"HI TANNNZZZ" I heard Barnie scream,

"Hi, can you not call me that" i said disappointed its not something about Alex

"How are Alex and you?" She asked

"She is good im good" i said

"Can I talk to her for a few minutes" Barnie asked, shit

What should i do?

Tell her the truth
Lie and say she is out
Or say nothing

"I dont know how to put this but Alex has run and we had no contact from her for 2 weeks, They are giving up on finding her," I said heavily

"Oh Tanner, do you want to talk to Taylor? He would like to speak to you and say a few words to Alex"

"Fine, pass him over" i said, there were some shuffling of the phone

"Sup bro, good?" he asked

"Not so good, Im so stressed out, Alex has run away, found out she had an older brother, she lost it and ran, no contact or anything from her for two weeks." I sighed

"Oh" he said,

"Is that all you can say? You were the one who got her pregnant, you know what? I dont know why im even talking to you, is Gin there?" I asked

"Yes, she got depression, because well Alex left her, here she is" Taylor said and passed his phone to Gin

"Hi" She said

"I miss Scotland, well Im alone here, only with her older brother, Gin she ran, I dont know why, but she ran, I dont know where she is, havent heard from her for two weeks, the council is losing hope of finding her" I explained

"What the *Beep*? She ran? Well, it sounds like someone has a crush on her," Gin laughed at the end,

"No i dont" i mumbled

"Tanner, I didnt send that text, that girl who is dating Taylor did, she stole it before i realised. I need to go over there and sort our friendship out, she is my other half, I dont know what i will do without her" Gin said sounding upset,

"Its okay Gin" i cooed.

ALEX POV

Me and Storm jumped into the water of the Wellington Harbour to cross the Cook Straight, I dont know how long but it seems like minutes, but i reached Picton, Its getting darker, we mist find shelter, I walked around to see if there is a motel that can board horses, and surly enough I did,

"Hi, I would like to book one room and a loose box for my horse for 1 night" I said to the reception lady

"That would be $80 please" she said, I pulled out my credit card and paid for it, yes i do have money, It saves me carrying cash all the time.
