Hungry, eat… Hungry, eat… Hungry, eat… Hungry, eat… HUNGRY, EAT… HUNGRY, EAT… EAT, EAT… FOOD.. DEVOUR.. EAT.. HUNGRY... Those thoughts kept circling around Giyuu's face. He didn't know why, but he didn't like those thoughts. Something told him those thoughts weren't him.
Everything was dark, he couldn't see a thing, but something tasted really, really good. Giyuu blinked a few times, his vision slowly returning. Although blurry, he began to see shapes. Or well.. Colours? Mostly red, lots of shades of red. He blinked again, the blurriness was slowly fading.
He scrunched his face up, holding his eyes closed then opened them quickly. He could see properly! Giyuu looked down, and felt he wanted to throw up. But he couldn't. His sister lay before him, even more bloody, her insides exposed to the outside, entire parts if her body missing. Giyuu's hand were caked in blood, her blood.
He wanted to stop, he wanted to stop so badly. But he couldn't, he kept eating, it just tasted so good. He began sobbing, choking on the flesh, unable to eat it any longer. Giyuu scooted back, tears streaming down his face as he spat out the remaining flesh in his mouth.
He curled up and cried. He cried and cried for hours. What did that monster do to me..? He kept asking himself. Hoping, begging for am answer. Eventually, Giyuu came to the conclusion he wouldn't get an answer of his own. He'd have to find out himself.
Giyuu took off his own pale blue haori, replacing it with his sister's red one after cleaning off the blood. He gently took her pale pink bow out of her braid, fastening it onto his own ponytail.
He looked out the doorway where his door used to be and noticed the sun would begin to rise soon, as birds were beginning to sing their morning song. Giyuu cast one look back into his home, "I love you Tsutako Nee-San.." and with those words he left, making run for the shelter of the forest.
