Yj's POV:

I went home after a long day, I had a meeting with the sales department, finance department... you name it. not to mention the 'date' my grandparents set up. I just need a long shower and sleep. ryujin was not at home, because she said she wanted to visit her family. I took a long and relaxing bath, ate my dinner and was ready to get my awaited much needed rest. so I slept without waiting for ryujin to come home

I woke up to the pleasant smell coming from the kitchen, I think I was too tired to not hear the alarm. I did my morning routine and went to the dining room, to see ryujin finishing her cooking. I can get used to this

"good morning ryuddaeng, the breakfast looks good and smells amazing," I said as I sat down

"Morning, morning. thank you for the compliment. let's eat." we started digging in. I was thinking if I should tell her about my 'date' or not. I mean at the least she'll tell me to go for it, so as my 'best friend' she'll support it which is the worst case. so I decided not to tell her about it...

"you seem out of it, is the food not good?" ryujin interrupted my thoughts

"you kidding, right? the food's great, I was just thinking about the works waiting for me" I said and chuckled nervously... ryujin knew I was lying but she didn't pry about it, thankfully.

Rj's POV:

I knew she lied about it but I didn't pry because I have to respect her privacy too...

"so how's the lunch with your grandparents yesterday?" I asked her, she didn't answer right away

"The lunch was great, they complained about me not visiting them often and all those," she said "and how about you? how's auntie and uncle doing?"

"I had a great time too, mom and dad are doing good. they asked about you and your love life as if I am your personal caretaker. at this point your love life is more important than mine in the eyes of my parents" I said and laughed

she smiled and looked at me. "what?" I asked her, then again she took her own time to answer

"You're beautiful" and that was enough to leave me all flushed up

"yah. stop it," how can I not fall for you harder when you make my heart go crazy

"you're beautiful so how to shut up. but fine, if I continue you will be a blushing mess so I'll stop for now" she said

the room was filled with silence, a comfortable one.

"right. did you come home late?" she asked me

"yes actually. after visiting my parents I went to the cafe to continue my experiments for the new menus and it was already pretty late when I came home" I said and she nodded

since I was so damn sure of my feelings for her, I wanna try this... I wanna confess to her even if it's risking what we have right now

"yeddeong, are you free this afternoon? for lunch?"

"today? yes," she said and furrowed her brows as of she was thinking "wait, no... I don't think I'm free. why?"

"ahh I wanted to have lunch with you, but it's fine maybe tomorrow?"

"I'll be free tomorrow. Are you sure you don't want me to cancel? I can have lunch with you today too"

"no, no it's okay, tomorrow it is"

"Alright then"

we went to our respective companies. today will just be a normal day, no meetings and all so I was free and that was the reason why I asked yeji if she was free but she had her own plans and I don't want her to cancel her plans just to have lunch with me...

I was working on some new designs when my phone rang. it was an unknown number, I was a bit surprised because only my closest ones have my private phone number

"Hello? shin ryujin speaking"

"hi ryujin," I froze on the spot "how are you doing lately? I've missed you"

"y-yeonjun? what... what do you want?" why in the world am I stuttering?

"I'm outside your office. should I invite myself in?" he spoke and my door opened with him holding a bouquet of flowers... I dropped my phone and was too startled to even care, I stood up from my seat

"w-what are you doing here? how the hell did you even enter the building?"

"I've missed you, I bought you flowers. your favourite ones" he showed me a bouquet of roses, tch my favourite ones are daisy

"I said what are you doing here?"

"angry much? can't I visit my girlfriend? we haven't seen each other for a long time"

"choi yeonjun, I told you we are over. OVER."

he chuckled and shook his head, "but I never agreed to this breakup"

"leave before I call the security"

"you wouldn't want to do that, because I am here to enjoy my free time, you always complained that we never spend much time together"

he is seriously getting on my nerve

"remember you're a celebrity, and you are under my sister's company. one word to the media and your reputation is gone" I threatened him, I know this is cheap but right now I'll do anything to get him out of my sight

"hmmm sounds interesting, if my reputation goes down then I will be dragging you too" this is not the yeonjun I know

I dialled my secretary and told her to call the security, yeonjun looked at me, anger is all I see in his eyes but I couldn't care less

"fine, I'll go but remember this is not the end," he said and went out in fury. I sighed and sloped down on my seat

I called my secretary and asked why yeonjun entered my office without my permission. he actually convinced my secretary that he was my boyfriend so she let him...

"in the future, only yeji, my family and close friends are allowed to enter my office without my permission, I hope I make myself clear?"

"yes miss shin, it won't happen again" I sigh and nodded, telling her she was dismissed

I went out to go for lunch 15 mins away from the company because I really needed air.

I went inside and sat in my favourite spot, the waiter took my order. I just sat there and looked at the people coming in and going out when yeji walked in... with a girl. oh
