wait what?? what the actual fuck???

"Grandpa, you can't just tell me to give up on ryujin. not after I learned her feelings for me," I said, I wanted to yell but it'll do me no good so I decided to stay as calm as possible

"But I just did," he said so easily without a care in his voice

"Why are you so against ryujin and me together?"

he didn't give me his answer right away

it took me every ounce of patience I have left, I almost yell when-

lunch was great, i had an enjoyable talk with my grandparents.

now I am in front of ryujin's company with her favourite flower in my hand

I quickly walked up to her office and knocked on the door

"come in" she was writing something as I walked in, she probably thought I was her assistant

I placed the flowers in front of her, "good afternoon, gorgeous"

she looked up and gasped, probably surprised

"yeddeong, what are you doing here?" she asked and smiled

"What am I doing here? you tell me?"

"you came to visit me?" like that's not obvious enough

"Actually no, I came here because one girl from the finance department caught my eye..." I teased her and her disappointed jealous face is too funny to watch "and I thought I might give you a visit too"

"from the finance team huh? should I personally go and call her up here? do you want to meet her. here?" she glared at me

"can I?" I teased again

"yeji-" yep she's hella mad

I went beside her and leaned on her desk as I faced her, "I'm kidding baby. 'pretty girl'? I need no pretty girl when you are here with me" as cheesy as it sounds, I meant every word

"we're gonna be having a big problem if you lie, miss Hwang" she crossed her arms

"then we won't have a single problem, because I spoke the truth. miss shin"

she huffed, "I know we are not in a relationship, YET. but I really don't wanna see you with someone else," she said as she stood up from her seat and hugged me.

hugging me as if her life depends on me

"and I don't see myself with someone who's not you, so don't worry about it. you're the only one" I said and hugged her back

"I miss you," she said. she can be so random

"It has not been long since we met." I broke our hug and looked at her "were you nervous?" I asked her. I already know she's nervous about what's to come. of my grandfather's decision

"I think so." she paused, "actually I am very nervous, what if grandpa really dislikes the idea of us together?"

"come here," I said as I pulled her towards her couch "yes he really disliked the idea of us together-" I hold her hand and she was already on the verge of tears

she was about to speak but I cut her off and continued "...in order to test me, so he basically pranked me," I said and laughed at her

she hit my shoulder, "I hate you so much, Hwang yeji" she's crying. shit

"Hey, hey, hey come here" I hugged her again "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I wanted to tease you"

"don't ever do that again, I swear to god yeji."

"yes, yes I won't do it again. promise"

after calming her down, I explained everything I talked about with my grandparents
