Third Person's POV:

if you tell the past ryujn that her best friend and she will be together years later, she won't believe you.

ryujin was awake from her slumber, quite surprised with herself that she woke up early, she looks at the sleeping beauty beside her. she blushed as she remembered the event that happened yesterday, she couldn't help but hug the latter beside her

of course, as a light sleeper, yeij woke up "what happened?"

"oh? you're awake, sorry didn't mean to wake you up"

"Why are you up so early? having a nightmare?"

ryujin was touched by yeji's words, with her raspy morning voice "no, I'm just happy. very very happy" she said as she take yeji's hand and looked at their promise rings

"anything for you, princess" ryujin blushed hearing the endearing nickname "shall we make breakfast?"

"okay"

Rj's POV:

my life has never been so complete, with yeji by my side, having the best family, best friends, and a stable and reputable job. I couldn't ask for more

"shall we meet our parents?" yeji asked me as she put on her blazer and came to my room. now that we're dating, it's only right for us to meet them. I'm still nervous about meeting grandpa- yeji's grandfather

"Should we?" I asked

"I mean, we can take our own time. but considering my grandma, lia might have told her already. so she'll ask us to meet them sooner or later."

"you have a point though. I'm just nervous"

she came near me and put her hand on my waist, "it's okay to be nervous, but one thing for sure though, they're gonna be happy to hear the news" she said

I wrap my arms around her nape, "even grandpa?"

"even grandpa," she said and peck my lip, "now come on, I'll inform grandpa that we're visiting them," she said as she let go of my waist

I was quick to pull her back and gave her a short kiss. kissing her felt so right, I might get addicted

a kiss that meant, 'thank you for comforting me'

"anything for you, princess" I blushed for the nth time

Yj's POV:

I call grandma and briefly tell her what happened yesterday

"so grandma, that's what happened" I concluded as I wait for ryujin

"Finally, I'm so proud of you darling."

"thank you, grandma. I was planning to visit you, I mean we are planning to visit you today. are you and grandpa free?"

"of course we are, you'll stay for lunch."

"Alright see you later, bye"

after a short while, ryujin came down. we decided to go and check the new headquarters first,

"shut up it has been only 2 months" I eye rolled

"exactly, we never crossed paths whenever you came here"
