Third Person's POV:

a lot has happened over the last year, yes they have been together for a year now. their new headquarter is also now completed

from reuniting to them being their companies' CEOs to ryujin breaking up with yeonjun to yeji comforting her to ryujin slowly developing feelings for her best friend, and finally admitting their feelings. they have come a long way

of course, there was this one moment when they almost broke up-ryujin almost breaking up with yeji- because

-flashback-

"yeji, can we talk?" ryujin asked her as she got out of the bathroom after crying her heart out

"yes babe.." she looks up and see ryujin with her red eyes, she immediately went to the latter, "what's wrong? are you okay? are you feeling unwell?" she started asking her

"no, no I am just.." ryujin was nervous because she didn't wanna hurt her lover...

"Baby, come here." yeji pulled her into a hug and that's when she broke down. once again

yeji knowing ryujin's having a hard time decided to keep quiet and comfort the girl "it's okay, princess. let it out. you'll be alright. I'm here to listen once you are ready"

after ryujin calmed down she finally faced yeji and decided to speak her mind

"yeji, i- I don't think I can do this," she said

"can't do what?? babe, you're making me nervous"

"I have been feeling insecure very lately, and it ain't helping me when I see some women flirting with you here and there. you know how my last relationship worked out. I know you're not the type of person to cheat but my thoughts have been eating me alive lately and I am scared. I feel like I don't deserve you and I feel like I have not done enough in our relationship and you'll eventually leave me at the end after you get tired of me, so before you leave me, I think we should just break up" she said sobbing

yeji knew how much ryujin has been coping with her feelings but was still kinda hurt to learn how ryujin thought of her but she knew it was because of her last relationship and knew that it'll change her mind if she showed and prove how much she means to her

"princess, look at me" she held ryujin's hand, "babe, baby look at me" ryujin finally looked at her... "I ain't going anywhere. you mean the world to me and I would never leave you, I have my eyes on no one but you. so what if those girls flirt with me, I couldn't care less because in my eyes you're the only one that shines. you're the only one since day one and it won't change till my last breath that I can promise you and I don't plan on breaking it. I love you so much baby." with that, she sealed her promise with a kiss "don't ever think I am leaving you, you're stuck with me for life baby. and come to me when you have problems. we'll overcome it together alright?"

sobbing harder, ryujin nodded her head. "I'm sorry, I'm just-"

"shhh... I know babe, I know... and you don't have to apologise for feeling that way... I'm grateful that you decided to express your thoughts. I'm not breaking up with you but we can take things slow, alright?"

and yet again ryujin could only nod,

"thank you yeddeong, I'm sorry for making that reckless decision. I should've known better"

"it's okay, it's totally okay... like I said always speak up whenever you have problems we fight it together"

thankful is an understatement for ryujin for having yeji by her side. ryujin has always been that fragile girl behind her cool outer appearance, she always needs constant assurance that you'll be by her side, and yeji knowing that has been doing her best to reassure the latter...

and things go from emotional to sensual, and ryujin gave away her first to yeji that night

and yeji just proved to ryujin that she's staying, that she won't leave, once again tonight.

-end of flashback-

Yj's POV:

Life is just so perfect the way things are as of this moment, waking up beside the love of my life, going to work together, coming home together, sleeping beside her. everything is just so perfect, and to make things even more perfect I am planning to propose. I want the whole world to know her not just as my girlfriend, but as my fiancée- my wife to be

I made the perfect plan this time, I did ask for help from our family and friends but it was not up to my expectations so after giving it a thought for almost a month now, I came up with the perfect plan... you might think that I am rushing this whole thing but I am sure this time, and I know ryujin's ready too because seeing how inseparable we are and how our love is growing day by day and how we kinda started discussing about getting married and starting our little family together

I decided to tell our friends and families about my plan and they too were satisfied just like me.

I am currently working now, I am thinking of how I am going to send ryujin to Paris...

Third Person's POV:
-flashback- 14 years old yeji/ 13 years old ryujjn

the two best friends were lying down in the park staring up at the starry sky, holding hands... their guards and nannies giving them their own space.

even though they see each other almost every day, they decided to meet up at the park, every friday night... no particular reason and of course with the consent of their parents. it became a habit of theirs

"ryuddaeng, when you find yourself a prince charming, how do you want your prince to propose to you?" yeji asked

ryujin was quiet for a moment, "you know Paris? I want my prince to propose to me in Paris"

"why in Paris, out of all places?"

"because I learned that Paris is a city of love, and I want to visit that place. I want my prince to propose to me in front of the Eiffel tower" she smiled looking at yeji

"tell me more about it," yeji said as she looked back at ryujin

the whole night, yeji listened to how ryujin talked about her dream wedding, and as expected of yeji,  she listened to her attentively making notes in her mind and promised herself to tell ryujin's future prince all about these. only so ryujin could have her dream wedding...

-end of flashback-

the innocent pure heart of a 14-year-old yeji. she won't need to tell ryujin's prince about all these anymore...  for she's the prince charming ryujin talked about, the only thing is yeji's not a prince but a princess
