KARINA'S POV

"Mom, I'm home, I'm gonna change and get ready to go out with my friend!"I shouted as soon as I got home.

"Jimin, who are u going with. Anyways, u know our new neighbour? I heard their daughter went to the same school as u, I think her name was min...min" Mom asked me.

"Her name is minjeong, she sits besides me. She is also the one that I'm going with now!" I said while going to my room, after changing, I got a message from winter

Winter: Hey u ready to go?

Me: yup, I meet you at your doorstep! Bye!

After grabbing my stuff, I said bye to mum and dashed out of the house. Knocking on her door, I saw winter, she was so pretty, she wore a crop top with long black pants and a hat. Realising that I was staring at her, my cheeks started to burn and I heard winter chuckled.

Well, I'm not straight, I dated lots of boys but they were not as interesting as girls. Girls just hits differently, their aura is so much better than boys(sorry if I offended any of y'all, don't take it personally)

We went to the cafe and chatted normally, as we went to the cafe, I saw someone I least expected

Jay

He was my ex boyfriend, he has his shoulder around a girl's shoulder.

"Hey Karina, it has been a while"

Staring at him, memories of me and him dating came back to me. I can't believe I trusted him so much!

Winter look at the both of us  as we had intense staring. Rolling my eyes, I took winter's hand and walked away from them. Suddenly, jay said,

"I can't believe u moved on! Well I'm glad that I ended things with you!"

Just then, I stopped in my tracks and shouted,

"I wish I never dated you in the first place, traitor"

After that, I took winter's hand and walked away from jay's sight.
I grip of Winter's hand became harder about having the thought of jay.

Jay was the first man that I deeply feel in love with, he cheated on me. After him, I was no longer interested in men.

Winter started to moan at the pain,

"Ah...ow..."

It was soft enough for me to listen, I quickly let her hand go and apologised,

"Sorry winter, I'm just angry I didn't mean to grip your hand too hard."

Winter said with a small smile as she rubbed her wrist,

"It's fine, shall we get our drinks?"

Nodding my head, I followed winter at the back and to the cashier.

After buying we found a seat to sit, however, we didn't talk at all, I was still disturbed at the thought of jay. Winter suddenly said,

"Karina who is that guy there just now when we walked in?"

Upon hearing that, I remembered how I felt when I found out he cheated on me, my eyes start to get have tears brimming up, I sniffed and said,

"He is jay, my ex boyfriend, the girl u saw beside him, was the person he cheated me with..."

Winter was shocked as her mouth dropped, she cupped my face and said,

"I'm sorry if I let u remember about the sad past, well now let's just forget about it since it has passed, don't care about him anymore, he is just wasting your time."

Upon hearing that, I smiled as I sipped on my drink. After out hangout, when I was about to head home, winter said sheepishly,

"Um...Karina, my mom invited you to stay in my house for tonight, is that ok with you?"

She started to blush, I immediately said yea and went to her house. We brought popcorn and decided to watch a movie, winter asked,

"What kind of movie do u wanna watch? I wanna watch horror movies."

I looked at her, signalling her 'no'
She said while chuckling softly,

"You are scared? It's fine I will choose not really scary one."

Gulping down my saliva, I started watching the horror movie with winter. Every time a zombie showed up, I circled my hands around winter's and bury my head into her neck and whimper. I could hear winter chuckled.

As I glanced at her, her face was so pretty just like an angel. I have never met anyone in my whole 18 years of my life this beautiful!

As I watched I was so scared as I kept my face in my winter's neck, I started to get tired and slept in that position.

WINTER

I was watching movies with Karina and I just realized she is scared of horror movies, she always hide her face in my neck whenever something scary pops out. I can't help but chuckle

After the movie, Karina was still hugging my arm. I didn't realize I was this close with someone so popular unlike me.

Trying to move, my body was so stiff. Turning my head, I realized Karina is sleeping. Not being able to move, all I had to do was to stay there and sleep.
