Lie

"Valentina, I took a plane here because we were planning to surprise you-" My father got interrupted
"Surprise me?" I raised my eyebrow
"Mr. Jake, Alexander's father, and i were talking from a few days ago and you were going to get married to Alexander tomorrow. I came here to prepare everything and-"
"I got beaten up by this rat and after all he has a fiancé" i explained
"No i don't. That woman is crazy babe. Don't believe her" he stepped closer to me

"Stay the fuck away from me!" I yelled at him
"Valentina that's bullshit! You'll marry this man soon and you're talking-"
"I can't marry him, Father" i affirmed
"Why?" He was surprised
"Because i got married to someone else" i lied
"That's bullshit!" Alexander shouted
"Who is it?" My father asked
I gulped, trying to find any person that can help me with this.
"It's me" i heard footsteps approaching us

Apparently that door came in handy but... I couldn't believe my ears when i realized it was his voice.
"And who are you?" My father asked
"Sebastian Gonzalez" he was confident
"Not you again!" Alexander barked
We can all see the shock on my father's face. It's like he saw Satan in front of him.

"No way... Your mother would be so disappointed of you" he looked at me as he mumbled and walked out of the room
When he said these words, i felt like someone stabbed me in my heart with a knife.
"I know that you both are lying about your marriage!" Alexander spitted
"Get out" Sebastian ordered him

Alexander bursted out of the room and I turned around to face Sebastian. I wanted to say something but no words came out of my mouth. I was speechless.

"You forgot your phone in my car" he handed me it
"Oh um... thank you" i added "you didn't have to-"
"I didn't have to what? Say that you are my wife? Well you'll be my wife from now on"
"What-"
How could a person not care if he's going to marry a woman he doesn't like?
"You heard me. Oh and as you know, a wife should live with her husband"

His car stopped and we arrived at his mansion. Apparently, Sebastian is rich. I've never imagined myself marrying someone who I don't even know what he does as a job. We headed towards the door where two bodyguards were standing. Few seconds of knocking, a maid opened the door.

"Hello sir" she said
"Is Liam asleep?" He asked, walking in
"No sir, he couldn't fall asleep. He said he wanted to wait for you" she explained

Sebastian went upstairs and i entered his house.
"And, who are you Miss?" She asked smiling
"I'm going to be his wife soon"
"That can't-" she got interrupted by Liam
"Valentina!" Liam came running to me
I forced a smile on my face and hugged him tightly
"Hello little buddy"
"I missed you so much" he giggled
"Prepare the guest room for her. She's going to live with us from now on"

Your mother would be so disappointed of you. These words couldn't leave my mind. Where did i go wrong? Not marrying the man who beat me up? I sighed and looked at the clock.
"3 am" i read
Great. I got up and walked downstairs to get a cup of water.

"Hey" that was the husky voice that belonged to Sebastian "can't sleep?"
"Yeah, and you?" I replied
"I'm texting my sister she'll be here by tomorrow morning"
"Oh really. That's nice"

I filled my cup of water. Suddenly we heard Liam cries heading toward us. "What's wrong?" Sebastian asked
"I had a bad dweam" he wiped his tears as he stood in front of us
I hugged him .
"What was it about?"
"It was... about my brother leaving me" he whimpered
"I'm not going anywhere" Sebastian approached us and patted Liam's head.
"Can you both sleep next to me for tonight?" Liam asked
"Sure" Sebastian smirked

Wait what. For a second i felt that my tongue was tied.
"But-" i got interrupted
"Come on Valentina! Please" he made a puppy face
"Fine" i rolled my eyes

Liam held our hands and walked us to his room. He crawled under the cover and Sebastian and i, laid next to him.
"Goodnight" he giggled
"Goodnight Buddy" i smiled
Sebastian turned off the lights

The next morning i woke up to a familiar girl's voice.
"Oh my god! Valentina and my brother?"
I opened my eyes, just to find my self on top of Sebastian with my head on his chest and his arms wrapped around me.
He chuckled and i jumped out of the bed.
