My body freezes as Nia stands in front of me with a sweet smile on her face. This was the girl Ana was talking about? I suddenly wished I had listened to my cousin's ramblings. Nia's eyes widened in recognition. "Hey I know you! We have class together!" She smiles as she points at me.

Ana eyebrows scrunch up in confusion. She points at me as she frowns. "Him? You have a class with this nerd?" She asks Nia. Nia shakes her head frantically. "Yeah he's in my AP Physics class, he sits behind me." She turns her body in my direction. "What's your name by the way?" She asks curiously. I look at Jamie and see him smirking.

Suddenly I forgot how to speak. Ana catches on and butts in for me. "This is my nerdy cousin Joon, I told you about him." She winks in my direction. Dammit she knows now, I'm gonna catch hell for this now.

Nia's eyes light up in remembrance. "Ohh I remember!" The boys all stare at her expectantly. Ana looks at them and rolls her eyes. She lets out a deep sigh. "Uhh this is Joon's lame friends. Edward aka eddy, anthony or tony, and dinosaur boy." She smirks at the nickname she gave Jaime. Nia begins to giggle, a sound that has become music to my ears. "Why'd you call him dinosaur boy?" She says in between laughs.

Ana shrugs. "Cause he looks like a prehistoric creature." They both start cracking up as Jaime sits there with a pout on his lips. Jaime has always had a crush on Ana. We all know it, but just like me, he denies it.

Ana grabs her keys from the table and slides out her chair. "Anywho, Nia and I are going to Walmart to get chips, do you idiots want anything?" I think this is my favorite part of high school. I'm a hungry person, I need to eat every twenty minutes. When I was little I always kept a bag filled with snacks that'd be gone before lunch time.

Jaime perks up "I want-" Ana cuts him off with her hand. "I didn't really mean it!" She walks off as Nia giggles. "I want takis!" Jaime shouts out after her. She waves her arm in dismissal, knowing damn well she's going to get them.

"Eww you're such a simp." Anthony says and I look up with wide eyes. But my face calms when I realize he directed the comment towards Jaime. He began to stutter as he stuffed his face in pizza. "Shut the fuck up!" He said with his mouth full of food.

We all start laughing, pushing him and teasing him about his longtime crush. "So when are you gonna get the balls and ask her out?" Eddy asks as he gulps down his milk. Jaime gives him a blank look, blinking rapidly. "I don't know what you're talking about." We all snicker at his denial.

The girls come back in ten minutes right before lunch ends. They're both smiling whispering about something as they walk up to us. Ana holds up her hand before Jaime could say anything. She reaches into her bag, and tosses him a large bag of takis. "You owe me 10 bucks!" Jaime does a dance and blows her a kiss. She catches it and pretends to chuck it across the room. Jaime puts his hand on his chest feeling hurt.

"This bag wasn't ten bucks?" he asks as he opens it, putting a couple in his mouth. "Yeah the extra dollars are for emotional distress." Ana jokes. Nia checks her phone and groans. "Ugh I don't want to go to class." She whines, and it's so cute. Her cheeky voice makes a weird feeling in the base of my stomach. "Then don't go." Ana suggests.

Nia shakes her head rapidly. "I have already skipped physics." She says frantically. Ana slaps her ass making Nia squeal. My eyes wondered at how close they have already gotten with each other, ignoring the pang of jealousy. So she skipped class today. Well, I'm just glad she wasn't sick.

"I know our poor boy was dying without you." Jaime teases and I glare at him. Nia completely bypasses his comment and leans towards me across the table. "What'd I miss?" She asks cutely. I shrug my shoulders trying to stay cool.

"Just haas fucking rambling, we took notes." I roll my eyes in irritation. "I stopped listening after a while." Her shoulders sag and her plump lips form a pout. "I can give you my notes." I say nonchalantly, even though I'm internally freaking out.

Her eyes light up again "Really?" I nod and turn around looking in my bag. I grab my binder. I hand it to her and she takes it happily. "Thanks!" She says gleefully. She opens in and I suddenly feel embarrassed, wondering what she thinks about it. "Ooo you have nice handwriting." a light blush creeps up my neck. Ana slaps my shoulder. "Yeah boy's handwriting is better than mine." She laughs out loud. Nia giggles "yea you're handwriting is ass." Nia checks her phone again. "Ah shit we're late!" She links her arm with Ana.

"Bye guys!" She holds up my binder waving it in my direction. "I'll give it back tomorrow!" She says happily as they walk away, arms linked.

"Okay smooth operator." Eddy jokes as we gather our stuff, realizing we are also late. "Shut up." I grumble as we walk towards our next class.
