• he sends you letters from other cities and countries, wherever he travels to
• tries to sketch beautiful moments from his day to show you
• his letters are more like diary entries, telling you how he's doing, what he's seen recently
• really vibey, he knows how to describe places so that his words take you there, even if you have never been there
• there's sand in the envelope
• letters are sealed with protective spells so that no one can open them but you
• sometimes the handwriting is messy and you can guess he was writing it in motion
• sometimes his letters are delivered months after he returns, and you read them together and it's fun and a bit strange to meet his past self.

• she writes to you when her thoughts are too much, or when she feels sendind a letter is more appropriate
• tells you what dreams she has had lately
• and what she's been thinking about
• her handwriting is elegant and the paper is scented, the letter is sealed with shimmery wax you can't stop looking at
• includes quotes from her favorite books
• and hidden messages just for you. about her worries, feelings, opinions she can't openly state
• to see them, hold the letter above a candle, just be careful not to burn it
• refers you in different languages she knows and honestly what can be more heart-melting

• most of his letters to you are unsent, written at night and burnt in the morning
• the ones you actually receive are pretty usual. they feel like journal entries, if only slightly boring and bittersweet
• "hey mc. how are you? the rain won't stop. there's something warm about such weather, huh? i haven't slept for 5 days. are you okay? i hope you're okay."
• from his shaky handwriting and coffee stains you know he's not lying about insomnia
• he doodles around the text when he's thinking of what else to write
• often, lines and entire paragraphs of text are blacked out
• in general, he's better at verbal communication, where he has no time to overthink each word.

• he started writing to you only after you sent him a letter first. then, he knew it was okay
• he writes on homemade paper. with flower petals in it. (yes the one we all have seen on tiktok and pinterest)
• his letters are short, somewhat resembling your own first letter, as if it was a template
• the paper smells of myrrh and wood, and there are protective sigils in the corner of the envelope
• he just says he wants to see you. that already means a lot.

• she's busy often so she writes you letters
• with dried flowers, ribbons and little drawings inside
• her writing style is same as her speaking manner, you can almost hear her voice
• tells you about her day, fun situations that happen, her worries if something is bothering her
• some words are crossed out, but it's just because she couldn't phrase it correctly
• she adds little drawings of herself and her emotions alongside the paragraphs. (and that's how portia invented emojis)
• says hello from pepi
• wishes you good day or night, whenever it is that you're reading it.

• he's seen others' aesthetic letters and now he has to try it
• so. you are lucky to be the first one he writes to! because you won't judge
• he starts with some graceful "hello, dear mc", and then just writes what he would say in a face-to-face conversation
• his narrative is inconsistent, jumping from one topic to seemingly unrelated another
• no paragraph spacing
• little dots in the corners because he was tapping the quill to fidget
• white rose petals in the envelope
• the letter is signed just "L" because that's more mysterious, but you don't have to guess, you know for sure who sent it.
