Stimming/fidgeting MC (courtiers)

I wanted to write "neurodivergent MC" but to be honest, most of hcs here will be about sensory stims, and not all ND people stim, and not all who stim are neurodivergent. So yes um.

Inspired by the fact that i bought myself my first stim toy! It's a blue transparent dolphin keycharm and its super smooth i love it

•like?? she's a fidgety queen too? especially when she's nervous
• so she totally understands and feels you
• trust me, all the lacework on her clothes is frayed becuse of constant fidgeting, and her nails are short not because she's into girls but because she bites her nails
• that is to say, if you chew on your shirt collars or other parts of clothes, she'll help you mend them with knit laces and cute grandma-style patches
• will never judge you if you eat to stim! in fact, she'll join you
• (im so mad that stim eating is underrepresented)
• going out together you hold hands and intertwine fingers and squeeze each other's palms for comfort
• yes she will say she likes the sensation of hugging you just as an excuse to hug you more.

• first of all, if anyone dares to insult you for stimming, that unfortunate person will go missing
• but in the arcana there's no stigma i guess? anyways
• aside from that, they don't care. like.. totally. just don't use weapons as sensory toys and don't get yourself hurt
• if you scream to stim, they scream with you! the more noise, the better!
• they have absolutely no idea how loud they are. they've been exposed to too much noise in their life, and their hearing is a little damaged. also, they just love to yell
• wear sound-cancelling headphones if necessary
• if they notice you like touching smooth surfaces, all the weapons will be hidden from you bc the metal is smooth and shiny. also... no they absolutely didn't polish their gauntlets just so that you touch them more often.

• yes you can cuddle his demon form, for once somebody understands the beauty of it

• not actual living worms of course, the artifical plushie-like ones, i know you know. if he sees you playing with one he's OBSESSED, he needs like 3000 of these
• please let him give names to your plushies/slimes/whatever toys you use!! he gets all sentimental and remembers each name
• absolutely understands not liking certain textures, so if you hate slime (like me) he won't get offended
• if you stim in ways that are harmful for you, he panics and asks someone else for help like a dad friend he is
• also! the worms love your fidgety hands, for smaller ones they're like a carousel.

(a bit more hcs for them this time because i project on them and wanted to vent, so put up with me, i'm not sorry)
• look, i'm not saying they didn't want to pry open your skull regardless of your neurotype
• but now they can barely hide their enthusiasm when asking for a permission to dissect you after you die
• while you live, though... they won't ever force you to change who you are and suppress stims
• just no slimes and no chewing on things in the dungeons! might be unhygienic, might be deadly
• if your relationships are close enough for gifts, someday they give you an amber worry stone with a leaf and some insect entrapped in it forever
• asks about your experience because they genuinely want to know
• isn't studying each other a neurodivergent love language?
• (to be honest, i headcanon that they stim, too? it's just very subtle, like tight fitting clothes, tense fixed pose, steepled fingers. all this pressure helps them feel put-together and focused. if it wasn't for the time period, i would clearly see them putting their arms under a hydraulic press just because it feels nice and they're immortal)
• (additionally, i think they would hate slimes/liquid/soft stim toys because these things never stay the same forever and are impossible to get back to their original state once touched. but the idea of glass orbs with organic things entrapped and preserved inside is so them, i can't.)

• at first he thinks you're nervous all/most of the time because you fidget
• it's because you aren't used to the palace's pretentious vibes and feel anxious, right?..
• he's shocked to know that stims can be happy or just. neutral mood. not necessarily stressed or nervous
• if you are anxious, however, he does his best to put you at ease. want to leave this official meeting right now? he's got an excuse to explain why you went home
• i just gotta say it, he entirely consists of pleasant textures. he knows it and actually lets you trace patterns on his arms or - unbelievable - touch his hair
• but only in private since people will gossip about him and you if they see, and he has to keep up his public image (i absolutely hate the concept of a public image)
• so he gives you stim jewellery for when you go out! it's so subtle and stylish and your favourite color. and you enchant it to bring you confidence and pride in who you are.
