Yesterday was the guys' first night back in Montreal after a long road trip, so I invited them all to my apartment. After talking for hours, I figured that they should just spend the night instead of driving home.
I slowly get out of my bed, being awoken by loud laughter from the boys. I fix my unruly hair and walk out of my room to see them standing in the kitchen. Once they notice that I'm there, they suddenly become quiet.
"Why the sudden silence, guys?" I ask them and they just look around at one another without speaking a word, unsure of how to respond. "You better not be planning a joke on me, or something." I threaten them and they laugh.
"No, there's no joke. But that would have been a good idea." Brendan says, still a little weary of my questions.
"So, what were you all laughing about before I came out here?" I ask once again, my curiosity killing me.
"We were just laughing at Tokarski's massive crush on you." P.K. admits as the rest of the guys look at him with wide eyes.
"What the hell, P.K.?" Alex asks.
Dustin has a crush on me?
"Wait, what?" I ask in shock.
Alex sighs, and explains everything to me. "Dustin has had the biggest crush on you ever since he met you. He always talks about you, but refuses to admit his feelings whenever one of us demands that he tells you. I really don't understand how you couldn't have noticed earlier."
"Where is he, anyways?" I ask, noticing his missing presence.
"He's going to get coffee, I think." Carey adds, but Lars adds his intuition. "Probably just for you." I blush at the thought.
"And now, thanks to P.K., he's going to kill each and every one of us for telling you." Alex looks at P.K., but he just shrugs his shoulders.
Almost as if on queue, there's a knock on the door. All of our eyes widen and everyone stands still.
"(Y/N) can get it! I'm out." Brendan says. He grabs his jacket and opens the door, the rest of the boys leaving as well.
"Wow, thanks guys!" I say sarcastically as they all pile out of my apartment. Once they're gone, I see Dustin standing in the hallway with my favorite type of coffee is his hand.
"Hey, I ran out and got you this." He tells me with a sweet smile on his face, handing me the cup. My face turns red, and I quietly thank him.
"So, why did all the guys leave?" He asks me and we walk into the living room area.
"Um," I begin, unsure of how to break the news to him. "Well, they kind of said some things to me and they knew that if I said anything about it to you, you would be extremely pissed at them." I say as we both take a seat on the couch.
"What did they tell you?" He asks me with fear in his eyes.
"Well, it kind of slipped, but they... they told me that... you kind of, have a ... massive crush on me." I admit and he looks as if he's about to faint at any moment. His face turns pale and the look of worry spreads across his face.
"Oh, well..." He tries to find the words. "I didn't... uhh, I'm sorry." He apologizes and stands up, heading for the door.
"Dustin, wait!" I plead. I feel awful for him, he must feel so embarrassed. He turns around, waiting for me to speak. His eyes focus on the ground near his feet.
"I didn't finish telling you what I have to say." He tries to make eye contact with me, but fails. "I think that you're the sweetest guy ever. You treat me so well and over the past moments that I've been thinking, I would be stupid to not tell you how I feel about you." This time, he looks deep into my eyes, his embarrassment wearing off. "I really do like you, too." I admit and he smiles.
"Really?" He asks me, evident surprise in his voice.
"Really."
"Well, then would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" He asks and I nod my head immediately, flashing a giant smile on my face.
He pulls me into him for a hug, before laughing. "I'm going to kill all of them." He jokes, but somewhat in a serious manner.

Three years ago today, Dustin asked me to go on a date with him. I could never have guessed that we would be engaged on the same day as our first date. Dustin proposed to me after our anniversary dinner, when we came home to our apartment. There was a small, black box sitting on my side of the bed. He told me to open it, and inside was the most beautiful, exquisite ring that any girl could ever ask for. He kneeled down and poured his feelings out for me, making tears roll down my cheeks. I nod my head yes before bringing him in for a hug, excited for my new life.
