Y/n's POV:

"Come on Y/n/n. Pleaseeeeee" Lizzie whined. We were enjoying a nice meal with Scar and Cobie. I had only met her at the racing last week and we arranged a girl's night out. Unfortunately, Gwyneth couldn't make it, so it was just the four of us. We had a really great meal and some cocktails to go along with it. Which had made the three women become tipsy and they were all demanding on going to karaoke.

I looked towards Scarlett who just smirked at me. "I'm going to need shots." I stated and Lizzie squealed and launched her arms around me. "That can be arranged." She giggled. Once we finished up our dessert, I excused myself to go to the bathroom, but made my way over to the counter to pay for dinner. I wanted to treat them all, as everyone has done so much for me over the last few months, but I knew that I would have a fight on my hands.

When I made it back to the table, Scarlett had gotten the waiters attention and asked for the bill. "It's already been paid Ma'am." He responded and the three women looked at each other confused. It then clicked and Lizzie turned to me. "Did you pay?" She asked with a slight head tilt. "Yes, it's the least I can do after everything you've done for me." I confirmed confidently, but I quickly shrank into myself when I had three disapproving looks boring into me.

"Aren't we meant to be heading to karaoke?" I asked, trying to change the subject. Thankfully it works and both Lizzie and Cobie got excited again as they made their way out of the restaurant. Before we could follow, Scarlett grabbed a hold of my arm and turned me towards her. "I wish you hadn't paid. This isn't a cheap place." She said firmly. She wasn't wrong there, but I didn't want Scarlett to always be paying for everything. I didn't want anyone getting the wrong idea.

All I wanted to do was lean over and give her a quick peck to make her pout disappear but we're in public which is strictly friends only. "Look Scar, I wouldn't have paid if I couldn't afford it. I want to be able to treat you, you shouldn't be the one to always pay for everything." I shared and she frowned. "But I like spoiling you." She moaned and I laughed. "Well, I do too so you're going to have to suck it up sometimes!" I replied and she huffed.

"Come on, we better going before the other two drag us out of here." I said, holding her jacket up for her. She nodded and we joined them outside where they already had an uber waiting for us. "Let's goooo!" Lizzie shouted as we came out of the door. We slipped into the back to the taxi, where Scarlett's hand instantly found its way to my thigh. I placed my hand over hers, enjoying the contact.

When we arrived at the karaoke bar, the owner greeted us and took us straight to a VIP area. This was much fancier than any other karaoke bar I've been to. We had a perfect view of the stage, but the booth provided enough privacy that people couldn't really see in. As soon as we sat in the booth, a waitress appeared to take our order. I jumped slightly when I felt Scarlett's hand slide onto my thigh, whilst her other hand draped over my shoulder. "What do you want to drink babe?" She asked. I was confused that she was acting like this in front of the waitress, and it didn't help when I saw both Lizzie and Cobie smirking at us. "Uh, a cosmopolitan please." I said in the direction of the waitress, giving her a small smile.

Scar's hand on my thigh tightened whilst the others ordered. They also carried on with the cocktails, whilst Lizzie ordered us all tequila. Once the waitress was gone, Scarlett let go of me, but still sat so she was close to me. "What was that about?" I asked and she shrugged. "I think someone was jealous." Lizzie teased. "Jealous? About what?" I asked and turned my attention back to Scarlett. "You really are oblvious sometime. She was giving you the fuck me eyes." She explained at a whisper, causing both Lizzie and Cobie to burst out laughing.

I joined in but quickly stopped when I received a glare from Scar. I cleared my throat and gave her a cheeky grin. "Well, I didn't notice because I've only got eyes for one person here." I reassured her and her frown quickly turned into a smile. She took a quick glance around and then lent up and placed a quick peck on my lips. "Aw, you two are so cute together." Cobie shared but Lizzie scoffed. "It can get sickly at times!" She joked and Scarlett quickly threw a straw at her. "You're just jealous you're single." She retorted and Lizzie accepted it.
