Y/n's POV:

I will never tire of waking up to Scarlett's naked body entangled with mine in the morning. I just admired her as her body slowly rose up and down as she slept. My eyes roaming her perfect body, I can't help but internally laugh when I see the couple of marks I left on her chest last night. We're having a pool day today with Ava and I think Scarlett is going to kill me! But I just couldn't help myself.

It's hard to not get caught up on the fact that she's leaving tomorrow. I want to enjoy the moments we have today without getting upset at the fact she'll be gone for nearly four months. But there is a nagging feeling at the back of my head. We've only been officially together for two months. This is a big change for our relationship so early on. I love her with everything I have, I just hope that this doesn't change us.

To stop myself from spiralling in negative thoughts, I started to run my fingers up and down Scarlett's arm, placing light kisses on her face to help wake her up. Slowly her body started to move, and she let out a groan. I laughed as she squints at me. "Morning babe. What's the time?" She asked in her sexy morning voice, snuggling further into my neck. "10:30. Lizzie's dropping Ava off at 11:30 so we should probably think about getting up." I said and she huffed in my shoulder. "Five more minutes please." She requested. Well, I know it wasn't a request.

I didn't respond, I just pulled her in closer to me. Being the kind girlfriend that I am I gave her 10 minutes before starting to get up. She quickly wrapped her hand around my wrist and pulled me back. "Don't go." She whined, her eyes still shut. "Angel, I love you, but we smell like sex, and I don't want my daughter to experience that." I laughed but she still groaned, refusing to move from the bed. "Ok, I'll guess I'll shower on my own then." I teased, walking towards the bathroom.

I got in the shower and turned the water on cold to help wake me up. I couldn't help but laugh when I heard the bathroom door swing open, and Scarlett jump in the shower clinging to my body. "Holy fuck! Why is it so fucking cold?" She screamed, quickly turning the temperature up. "I needed to wake up. I can guarantee that Lizzie will have feed my daughter endless amounts of sweets and she's going to be in a complete hyperactive state when she gets here." I explained.

Scarlett hummed in understanding and then grabbed the shampoo. We had a pretty quick shower, considering we were struggling to keep our hands off each other. We both changed into our bikinis, and each threw on one of my hoodies to keep the chill of the air con off us. It all seemed to work out for perfect timing as the doorbell went.

Whilst Scarlett finished up getting ready, I went down and opened the door to be greeted by a tired looking Lizzie and a very hyper 6-year-old. "That'll teach you for feeding her too many sweets!" I teased Lizzie as she walked in to the hallway. "How did you know?" She asked. "The fact that you look like you've been run ragged and she's already doing the child version of zoomies around the kitchen." I said, pointing to Ava running around. "Ok, so I made a mistake. But I felt bad that I'm not going to get to see her for months. It's not my fault you're not bringing her with you when you visit." She complained.

I pulled her into a hug which she fell into. "She has so much energy. How do you deal with this all the time?!" She asked whilst holding onto me tightly. "Practice, and not feeding her too many sweets!" I teased once again and she just huffs. "Hands off my girlfriend Olsen!" Scarlett shouted out as she joined us. "SCARLY!" Ava shouted and ran towards Scarlett, launching herself into her arms. "Good morning my little widow. Someone seems very active this morning!" Scarlett responded, giving Lizzie a quick eye roll.

Lizzie finally let go and handed me Ava's overnight bag. "Well, I'll leave you to have your family day together. I'll see you tomorrow?" Lizzie said as we walked with her back towards the door. "Yep. We'll pick you up on the way to the airport." I confirmed. Scarlett and I both said our goodbyes to Lizzie, and I called Ava. "Lizzie's off now bug. Come say bye." I called out. We heard the patter of Ava's feet as she ran into the hallway.
