Today is Mother's day and I have an emergency meeting here at the capitol with Bongbong. I left Vida with Irene since she doesn't have a work and she insisted to look after my daughter. The boys are also there with them and they're having their quality time since it's weekend and thay don't have classes.
" Do you have any plans later? " Bongbong asked me while we're checking some papers
" Plans for what? " I asked back
" It's Mother's day, Ate. Hindi ba kayo lalabas ng mga bata? " Bongbong
" Ah. I just want to spend time with the kids at home. Movie Marathon with them perhaps. Kayo ba? " I asked while still reading the papers
" We had dinner kagabi and we're going to Mommy's place later. " he said at bumalik ka kami sa pagtatrabaho.
Lunch time passed pero hindi parin tapos itong meeting na ito, may hinihintay pa daw. I promised Vida pa naman na I will be back before lunch time para ako ang magpapatulog sa kaniya mamayang hapon.
" Bong, pwede na ba akong umalis? Your niece is waiting for me. I don't wanna break my promise to her again. " I irritately said
" Ang un-professional naman kung aalisan natin 'to Ate. This is a big investment sa Ilocos. Besides, Irene is with Vida naman kaya don't worry about her. " I just rolled my eyes on what my brother says
Many minutes of waiting, my secretary said na dumating na daw yung hinihintay namin. Kung sino man siya, ang sarap niyang sakalin dahil sa pagaantay namin sa kaniya.
I sigh and leaned my back on my chair. I heard the door opened but I didn't bother to look back dahil wala na ako sa mood.
Suddenly, someone cover my eyes and i felt that someone put something infront of me.
Pagkatanggal ng kamay sa mata ko, I saw my five years old daughter sitting on the table infront of me while holding na small cake that says " Happy Mom's Day, Momma! Love, Ricci. "
" SURPRISE! " They all shouted
" Happy Mother's Day to you Momma! " she slightly shouted and handed me the cake
" Thank you so much, baby. I love you! " I said as I put the cake beside her and let myself hug my princess
" I wabyu too Momma! Tati Irene helped me to make you this cake Momma and Tati also helped me on my gift for you. " she said in a cutest way
" Aww. You don't have to give me gifts anak. You're enough for me, baby. " I kissed her forehead before she jump out of the table
Lumapit siya kay Irene na may hawak hawak na maliit na box na regalo.
" I am the one who picked the colors and I hope you like it. " Vida said and handed me the box
It was a bracelet. A red and pink hand made bracelet with some blings and a letter 'I' pendant. Agad ko itong sinuot at ipinakita sa kaniya.
" Is it looks good on me? " I asked her
" Yes, yes, yes! And look, Momma! I also made for myself so we're terno. I made one din for Tati Irene, Tata Liza and Mama Meldy." She's indeed the very sweet human being for me
Flashback ends...
Nakatitig lang ako sa bracelet na regalo sa akin ni Vida noong bata pa siya. It's been days since the kidnapping happend and we still don't know anything. We still don't know where she is. Halos mabaliw na kaming lahat sa kakahanap sa kaniya. Aimee and Axiel even flew from California just to help us find Vida.
