Siren song, sweet and enchanting
And a sailor has no choice but to be wholly enraptured
But it's doing him a favour, this melody
It promises a saccharine death,
Which can't be said of the sea's other traps
This creature of the depths
Gazes up at the moon on a clear, starry night
And the universe is reflected in her eyes
She grins,
And the moon is just out of reach
But that doesn't stop her from singing her soul to him
She'll snare him one day, one day.
