What am I if not yours
And why must you leave me here alone
Do I carry on as if nothing ever happened
Because I cannot seem to live as if you never did
And since you no longer do
Why shall I
I cannot calmly accept that
You were never meant to finish our journey hand in hand
The path ahead is lonely and bleak
And I'm not quite sure I won't stray
It was for you I took the first step
So tell me why I should go any further without you
You should have taken me with you
I would have followed you to the ends of the Earth
And I can only say now
That I'm willing to follow you even further than that
I'll join you soon
To be together once more
