Edric's POV

"Edric... Edric!"
The green-haired boy looked up from his meal, his younger sister's voice snapping him out of his daydreaming.

"What?"

"Were you even listening to me?" Amity sighed, annoyed. "I was asking if you guys had any ideas as to what my next date with Luz should be, but no one here can think of anything." She said, gesturing towards Odalia, Alador and Emira who were all eating dinner together.

"I'm not really the best person to ask about that kind of stuff." Edric responded as he took another bite out of his food.

"Of course you're not." Odalia scoffed. Edric looked at her, confused and offended. "Excuse me?"

"Seriously Edric, when are you going to get a partner? All you ever spend your time on anymore is pranking people. You need something else to focus on while you grow out of this."

Edric rolled his eyes, tired of his parents' constant criticism. "I'm perfectly fine on my own, thank you very much. And if I do end up dating someone, it'll be on my own terms." Edric spat before standing up and heading back to his room. Although he didn't care too much what people thought of him, he still wanted a way to get his family off his back.
