Chapter 8

"Your not the only one with abilities" he says smirking. "Wha- how" I say dumbfounded. "Haha" he says taking a pause then begins explaining. "when I was a kid I lived in the nether... everyone there had powers the strength of your powers depended on your ranking. There was a glitch because I am only half piglin. I was given high ranking abilities. I can turn into a piglin whenever I want and I'm way stronger in my piglin form. A downside is that I have these..." he took a pause and sighed. "Voices." He finished. "They talk to me and tell me to do things... terrible things." He looks down ashamed of himself. "That's alright... I'm always going to be here for you no matter what. I understand what you are going through" I tell him and he looks up and hugs me.

I go up to the room he had given me and lay in bed thinking. I thought I had gotten rid of those memories. But all that was going through my head was the screams of my people the screams of my parents. 'Kill them... KILL THEM ALL' it was all I could hear in those times. The regret, the fear, everything floods back to me. I can't believe he is from the nether. 'What if he knows about me...' is all I could think of right now. 'No! If he knew what I did he would have already killed me' i reply to my own thoughts.

The overwhelming thoughts must have tired me out because I fell asleep. When I woke up I realized it was still light outside so I figured I didn't sleep for long. I get out of bed and am met with pain probably from the skeleton. I go downstairs and see Technoblade cooking. "Perfect your awake super is almost ready" he says not even looking at me. "Oh ok thanks. Weird question..." I start and he turns around to look at me. "Can we have a picnic?" I say looking down slightly embarrassed. "Yeah sure." "Yay I'll go set everything up!" I say and run off to get everything we'll need and I hear him let out a small chuckle.

[TIME SKIP]

We finally finish eating the super Techno had made which consists of potatoes and only potatoes. He didn't know how to cook much things but he made potatoes perfectly. We were now just sitting watching the sunset together. It was nice. Just us, peacefully watching a beautiful sunset. I look over to him and admire his beautiful blood red eyes. His eyes look soft and loving now that I think of it his eyes look like that when he looks at me.

The sun had set and I was getting tired so I decided to lay down. Techno also laid down. I decided to lay on his chest. He tended up at my touch but soon relaxed.

"What was your life like before you left the nether?" I ask him breaking the silence. "Uh quite boring honestly. I lived alone and didn't really do anything. I liked to read though" he said. "What kind of books did you read" "mythology mostly" I've never really learned anything about mythology but from what I know it's seems interesting.

"Who is your favourite god or goddess" I asked him. Maybe I could learn about it. "That's a hard question but probably the goddess of life" Wha- no it can't be. How would he know? It must be a other goddess, right? "She s-sounds cool? Can you tell me about her" "She was the princess of the nether. Although her name might make you think she is sweet... she turned evil and killed her parents. No one truly knows why but rumour has it she was haunted by an evil spirit." He says in a spooky voice. How- how would he know. "But anyways no one has seen her since" he says in a happier voice. I can't believe that has become a mythology story. "Oh... that interesting" I say.

The sky was full of stars, bright stars. I always found peace in watching the stars. Back when I was at L'Manburg, Quackity would be asleep and I could go watch the stars. It was the only time I could just think and be myself. It's honestly sad to think about now. I was only ever happy and felt like I could be myself when I was alone. It's different now though. I feel safe here, with Techno. He makes me feel safe. I've never felt like this before even when I was with Quackity.
