"By virtue of the jury's decision and the power vested in me by the state I hereby sentence you to be incarcerated with no possibility of parole for ten years. Case closed." As the judge pronounced the sentence, Moira let a sigh of relief. Nikki on the other hand didn't care about it. He was engulfed in his thoughts yet again. When Moira got away from the court she made her way to the car. Vince ran to her and said:
"Call me when you're back from Seattle."
"Okay."
"Tell her what monster her Frankie turned into. She deserves to know."
"I will." As Moira got in the car, Nikki saw her car driving off the alley. He knew where she was going.

As Moira reached the door she pressed the button. Then the door cracked open and a lady with a cigarette appeared.
"Excuse me, I'm looking for Deana Richards."
"Well, I'm here."
"Hi, my name is Moira Adams. I'm a daughter of Jennifer Adams."
"Jennifer? Oh my God, you look just like your mother. I'm glad to meet you."
"May I come in?"
"Of course. Come in." Suddenly Moira felt her trust issues disappear, which never happened before. Then she and Deana sat on a couch.
"I don't know if your mother has told you about my mistake. I was stupid back then."
"It's okay."
"How is Jennifer?"
"She... She died."
"What? She's dead? I-I can't believe it."
"She died years ago. In a car accident. With my father."
"With your father? Oh poor child." Deana gave her a hug.

"I came here to ask about your friendship with my mother."
"We were as close as sisters. We used to share everything. Then Frankie was born and I had to move into another town. I wish I could know where Frankie is. I really miss him."
"Frankie is your son, right?"
"Yeah, but he changed his name to Nikki Sixx which I find ridiculous."
"Well, he's in jail."
"What?"
"His case was closed hour ago and he was sentenced to ten years of incarceration."
"What did he do?"
"He's a long-time criminal Ms Richards. I forgot to tell you that I'm detective and..."
"Did he kill anyone?"
"Well, he killed so many people I even forgot their count."
"You're telling me that my Frankie is a murderer?"
"I'm sorry you're finding it out like that."
"He got that selfishness from his father."
"Well, he killed my sister."
"Sister? You-you had a sister? And my son killed her? Oh God. Do you know why he did that?" All of a sudden, Moira started crying.

"There's more Ms. Richards."
"More? What else?"
"We met for the first time when he was eighteen. He referred himself as Nate which I found suspicious. After that night we had a crush on each other for years. But we didn't meet again until the first time I arrested him."
"Moira, are you in love with him?"
"Unfortunately, yes."
"Keeping in mind the fact that you're absolutely gorgeous lady he probably loves you too. But why did he kill your sister? Revenge? Jealousy? I swear to God, my son is really really spoiled."
"He's blaming you and his father for betraying him."
"Same old words. He's always dragging about it, isn't he?"
"I don't know what you've done in the past that he still feels hurt about it, but the thing I'm sure about is that you should visit him and talk to him. You both need to talk everything out."
"How? He doesn't want me."
"I got this. Next week we'll visit him, okay?"
"Alright."

"I have one more question Moira."
"Yes Ms?"
"Has my son ever hit you?" A flashback from the choking flickered through Moira's mind.
"He... I-"
"He has? He's so cruel."
"He almost choked me to death. I think the marks are barely visible but they're still there."
"Oh God. He-he..."
"I'm sorry madam, I shouldn't have said that."
"No, no. It's okay. I'm glad you came here. You're so kind. And strong enough to take it all. I can't even imagine what you're going through. Your parents gone, your sister gone. And the fact that you're in love with my cruel son. Unbelievable. You know what? You can come here any time. You can even spend a night if needed."
"Thank you, madam. I appreciate it."
"Just call me Deana."
"Well, Deana, it was nice to be here. I have to go now."
"Let me give you my number. I'll be waiting for your call next week."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye dear."

Moira's POV

She was so kind. I can't believe it. She was so kind and welcoming. And how come my trust issues disappeared? I don't even get it. Why does Nikki want to kill her so bad? She was so kind. Probably because she was left alone. Well, everyone makes mistakes. But some of them are unforgivable and unrepairable. Just like the fact that Nikki killed my sister. Yet, I still love him. How? I'm so ashamed of myself for letting him touch me. The hands that are responsible for so much death gave me so much life. And I'm ashamed of that. I should stop thinking about him. I got work to be done. People to be arrested. Victims to be interrogated. Victims... Maybe my sister wasn't one of his victims, but me. And instead of being a victim of hate, I'm a victim of love. I'm sick of it.
