"Hyung, what're the annual rings of a tree?" Lily asked Base
"Do you see the circular lines inside a tree trunk when a feller cut down a tree?"

"Those are the annual rings of the tree, they are also called annual growth rings. Annual rings show the amount of wood that is being produced during one growing season." Basen explained further. Everyone listened to the young kid's explanation thoroughly

Kim Rok Soo touched the curtain as he continued to speak.
"Looking at the annual rings of a tree lets you know the approximate age of it. Each circle represents one year. Annual rings look different based on where the tree is growing, the nearby environment, and weather."
