RITESH : bohot ziddi hai woh kuch sunti nhi ,
Mujhse pyaar hai pr kehti nhi ,
Mere pyaar ka khaas sa lamha hai woh ,
Mere Bina kuch toh tanha hai woh ,
Uski ek jhalak paane ke liye yeh Dil bekarar ho gya

Shanaya's tears were not stopping after reading the letter where on the other side ritesh was remembering the moment when he found that the poetry on shanaya's diary was for him. He remembered the moment when shanaya was in his house and he was reading her diary. He chuckled while remembering her embarrassed pink cheeks. Then he got lost in.... Flashback:-
Shanaya and ritesh were sitting on the bed. It was that time when ritesh was reading her diary and Shanaya was trying hard to snatch it from him.
Ritesh : khubsurat tha woh pal jab tum se mulakat Hui ,
Adhuri si he sahi par kuch toh baat Hui ,
Woh samundar si gehri aankhe jismai dub jaaye zahil
Woh ishq ki kitaab sa mai anpad si ek jaahil
Tumhare sapne khuli ankho se dekhte huye
Mehsus kia hai maine khud ko khite huye

Ritesh was cursing himself that why didn't he realise his feelings towards Shanaya first instead of dating Lina. He ignored Shanaya , his best friend, without her ritesh was fully incomplete..

As i was typing my door unlocked in a 'thud'. I quickly covered my screen in which I was busy writing my story. Not my i mean but of my dear parents but I'm the author right ? So basically my umm NVM. I looked at the door and ofc I saw my monkeyhead brother. He always enters to my room without knocking and i hate it like 'dude I'm older than u by a whole minute please respect my privacy'.
"Tu kab mere room Mai Bina knock kiye aana band karega"
Ivaan said smiling and whenever he smiled that way he looked like papa when he smiled like that he looked like papa when he does some mischief : "jab tu apne yeh cheesy novel likhna band karegi."
"1st of all woh kabhi nhi hoga aur 2nd ki mai iss baar koi cheesy novel nhi likh rhi hu"
Ivaan : "acha ? Enemies-to-lovers , second-chance , childhood-friends-to-lovers ke baad abhi konsi story likh rhi hai ? tooth fairy aur alien ki ?"
That last one made me laugh. We both laughed. Then I said
"Waise idea acha hai lekin pehle tujhe teri tooth fairy toh mil Jaye tab likhungi na 'alien and his tooth fairy' ki kahani"
Ivaan : seriously? Mai alien ?
I said giggling : ha na. Lekin iss baar mai friends to lovers trope likh rhi hu college version.
Ivaan while trying to connect the dots :"friends to lovers , college ..... Ummm ek min tu mummy aur papa ki story toh nhi likh rhi hai na"
