a streak of pink would always exist.
despite the ticking steps,
bleeding to teeenagerhood.
despite the blossom-filled moments that didn't last forever,
dropping her to an unknown reality.
she would soar through it, like the princess she is
you would find her with her invisible crown
at the tip of her head, always.
it did lose it's shine,
it did not sparkle,
and it didn't shimmer for days.
yet, you would find the crown existing.
it would live.
she would always find the gem to make her crown glow bright.

she would always find the gem to make her crown glow bright

*・゚ ✦ hiya dearies!

ahhh it feels blissful to be back. I missed writing. I missed turning 'IMPOSSIBLE' into a new & improved work- all the way into a whole series. really, whoah. the massive changes that happened in my online life and real life? gosh, I couldn't be more grateful because after taking so much time & space to heal and grow at my own pace, I know I'm ready. I'm ready to start writing and I hope you'll join me on this journey.

if you don't know already, if I were to describe this whole poetry collection in one word, it would be 'childhood' as much as yas, I do admit that being a child is usually a happy time...while, I did have some of the most wonderful days of my life, I can't say it was amazing while overlooking all the ugliness in my childhood too. it is what it is. I'm not here to sugarcoat it or make it all nice and fancy for you to read.

remember this is only the title poem, things will get dark, they will get light, they will be in between. but. one thing you know you can expect? the whole truth. rawly. unfiltered. and, most of all real experiences. real moments. real places. real people. with all that being said, thank you for reading 😘❣️

qotd: how was this chapter? hows your invisible crown doing on this fine day? any thoughts about this poem? reaction/emoji's are always welcome :D constructive criticism is always welcome!
