if she were to lose herself, she knows there are two arms to capture her in an iridescent bubble.
when things break down, the hands will be there to pick her up and get her going
when things bloom up, the hands are there to take her down and get her dancing
if the hands become invisible, there will always be a shoulder to lean onto.

If she were to lose herself now, there are no hands to hold her. there are no shoulders to hold onto. she spins the tune to her lifeline all by herself. hoping that one day, she'll find someone else who'll stay, forever.

*・゚ ✦ hiya dearies!

I think that sometimes we get used to having a certain person, or a certain group of people that when they seem to be gone for whatever reason, it becomes hard to breathe. when that happens, you know that you've been dependent on someone- which isn't healthy at all. learning to live alone. learning to be by yourself. learning to do things by yourself, things that society thinks should be 'for' two people. basically, just learning to live with yourself. that 'learning' for me, never happened until I turned into an adult. so, you can imagine the amount of unnecessary feeling I put upon myself by not learning more about myself.

I can't be more thankful to say that yas, I truly do know myself. I know how to live with myself. I got so sucked up into a monotonous, continuous, never-ending routine/cycle that I truly, genuinely did forget about myself. but, I'm here now. I'm going to be the person I needed to be when I was younger. 💕.

qotd: who is the one person that you can remember, being dependent on, back in your childhood? how was this chapter? any thoughts about this poem? reaction/emoji's are always welcome :D constructive criticism is always welcome!
