"googoo?", taehyung wakes up only half an hour later, feeling unbelievably scared because it's dark.

"googoo.", he starts crying, jeongguk waking up immediately.

"baby i'm here. ggukie is here.", he pulls the other closer again, letting him sob into his chest.

"tata thought googoo left him alone.", he sobs softly, jeongguk now stroking his hair.

"i will never leave you alone, okay? i promise."

"googoo thumb.", he cries and jeongguk immediately gently puts his thumb into the other's mouth again who immediately starts sucking.

"sorry baby.", he apologizes. he must've removed his thumb in his sleep without realizing.

"s'okay."

"sleep now. you're fine."

"will googoo be here when tata wakes up?"

"of course. this is my house, forgot? why would i leave you alone?"

"googoo's thumb is better than binky."

jeongguk chuckles.

"you're so cute."

taehyung thankfully is now completely calmed down again.

"good night babyboy."

"ggukie?"

"hey."

"my head hurts.", taehyung says. it always hurts after slipping.

"i'm getting water for you, wait.", he leaves the room and comes back a minute later.

"thank you.", he smiles and accepts the glass, drinking half of it.

"i'm sorry that i slipped again ggukie.", he lowers his head and jeongguk sits down next to him, grabbing his hand gently.

"don't ever apologize for that, you hear me?", he asks, looking deeply into the other's eyes who looks at him with big innocent eyes, scared of annoying jeongguk.

"i don't mind you slipping. it's the cutest thing ever actually. also if you didn't slip i wouldn't have had the honor to wake up next to your pretty face today."

taehyung blushes, smiling shyly and looking down.

"thank you ggukie."

"of course. how about we go out and have a nice lunch, hm?"

"but i don't have anything nice to wear."

"we'll find something that fits you don't worry. you look pretty in anything anyway."

"okay.", he blushes again, making jeongguk smile like an idiot.

taehyung is at home, smiling all the time because of the earlier events with jeongguk.

he is so happy. but he misses him a lot already.

he has to study for a test tomorrow and he already did, but he just can't seem to focus.

jeon.jk: i hope i can see you tomorrow

babytae: of course

jeon.jk: are you studying for your test?

babytae: i can't concentrate
