Amity just stood there. Trying to keep in her tears. The girl she loved, Luz, just rejected her. And the worst thing was, Luz was dating her old best friend, Willow.
The scene played out something like this:
Once Amity was distracted, Luz went over to check to see who Amity was gonna ask out. She came upon the letter and her eyes widened. She went over to Amity and said, "I'm sorry. I can't go to Grom with you. I've already promised my girlfriend Willow I'd go with her."
"Oh... Ok..." Amity said, before walking home in tears.
