Months have passed and it's almost her first death anniversary and it still feels like it just happened yesterday. All of the pain, sorrow, madness, I've felt still aches.
I was drinking my coffee peacefully at the coffee shop when I saw Soleniana holding a toddler girl in her right hands. I was thinking if that's hers 'cause I've never seen them for a while now.
Soleniana was busy ordering for them when the little girl ran away and bumped into the waitress. I quickly stood up and went to help her but I was amused when I saw her reaction. Instead of crying, the little girl was pouting. Sol came rushing and panicking.
"She bumped into the waitress." I explained.
"Uh, uhm… Thank you. L-let's go, baby?"
"Who's baby is that?" I asked.
She literally panicked and I can tell that she's nervous but I know too that sometimes she's like that even before.
"My… c-cousin! Pinaalaga lang…" She said.
I just nodded and took my phone out.
"Can we take a picture?" I asked.
"Oh, yes! Sure!"
"I was asking the kid, Sol." I said frankly.
I took a picture of us and a solo picture of her. I stared at it for a moment. Her hair is so long when she's only one year old or something. She's really adorable and I'm jealous. If you're still here we could have a baby too, Farah.
