" Ruuuhiiiii" For the 10th time Prakriti called me.
" Yes Prakriti I am on my way." I said while applying my eyeliner.
" From how many minutes are you on your way." I took the lipstick and applied it on.
" Just give me 15 mins. I am stuck in traffic." I said closing the lipstick.
" Come fast." She said and hung up the phone.
" I can't beleive you drowned yourself so much in work that you forgot to check the timing." Advik said from the bed.
So, what happened is. I was working and when Advik came all dressed up in his suit did I realised that I have to get ready for the birthday party. It's been 2 days since I first came home and yesterday I shifted my luggage here and decided to stay here.
I dashed into the bathroom taking my dress. I was going to wear a black off shoulder, heart neckline crop top and a white a-line skirt.

My hair was down and I wore a pair of black earrings. I slipped in my black stilletos and kept my phone, wallet and makeup stuff in my bag and grabbing the gift, came outside in the living room. But Advik was nowhere to be seen.
" Advik?" I called out for him.
" Coming." He said and came out from the kitchen. " Ready?" I nodded and he looked at me and stopped on his way.
" What? I am not looking good?" I asked looking at my dress. He came and kissed my cheeks.
" Perfect." He smiled at me.
" Thank you." I said while smiling. " Let's go now." I said and he nodded. We came outside of the house and I locked the door. I got into his car and we drove off.
In 15 minutes, at the fastest speed we reached at my cousin's. The party was arranged in the garden and it felt so good there. I spotted Prakriti talking to her friends. I walked to her silently and gestured her friends to be quite. I went to her and hugged her from back.
" Happy Birthday to my favourite girl." She pulled out and looked at me.
" I am upset with you. You are so late." She said.
" Blame the traffic. We were stuck in it. Ask him. Right Advik?" I asked turning to him and he just nodded.
" See."
" I know you were doing your makeup when I called you." And just like that mine and Advik, both of our mouths dropped.
" How did you know?" Advik asked.
" I just knew and you too lied to me? Like seriously when I called you, I can hear the glass you dropped." She said turning to him.
" You broke a glass?" I looked at him and he mouthed a sorry. I shook my head.
