Chapter 27: Him in my Fate

Ruhi Singhania:-

" I need that presentation till tomorrow morning. I don't care how I just need it. Is that clear?"

"Yes mam." I hung up the phone and layed my head down on the table. It was 11 in the night and the work seemd to not end. Ahaana and Shravan's marriage was the sole reason. They got married 2 weeks ago and as I and Advik wanted, it was a destination wedding but after the wedding was over all the office work we left behind was now up on us.

I felt a body behind me hugging me. I craned my head to look back as he nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck. " Advik? You here? At this time?"

" I was just working and I was hell missing you." He said. I turned around the chair and he sat on the ground with his head on my lap.

" I was missing you too."

" Why didn't you sleep still?" He asked.

" I just had too much work and one of my employee is making me more angry. I swear I would fire him if wouldn't meet his deadline tomorrow." He chuckled.

" Go easy on that man."

" I have been going to much easy on him that's why he is doing this all."

" Okay, okay. Need a coffee?" I nodded and he stood up. His coat was off and top two buttons of his shirt was open while his tie hung lose on his neck. His hairs were messy and his eyes had bags underneath them. I looked at the time and it was already 11:00 a.m.

" Let's not get coffee but some sleep instead of it."

" I thought you didn't want to sleep."

" I don't but you need it and I think I should get some sleep or you know my blood pressure keeps on dropping."

" I know." He said holding my hands and walking to my room. It was after the time of Ahaana's engagement that my dizziness increased and then I remembered that I have a problem of low blood pressure. It's a genetic problem.

" You took the medicines?" I nodded and he nodded curtly before going into the washroom and changing into some comfortable clothes. He had so many sleepovers here that now I had plenty of his stuffs here and same was at his house too.

He came after some minutes and got beside me in the bed and held me in his arms while kissing my forehead.
" Good night love."

" Good night. I Love you." I mumbled in his chest.

" I love you too." He said and soon we drifted off to sleep.

I woke up the next morning by the sound of my phone ringing. I looked around and saw Advik nowhere. I decided to attend the phone call first. After attending the phone call I walked in the kitchen and as I expected he was there cooking. I smiled and hugged him from back.

" Good morning." I whispered

" Good morning love. Did you sleep well?" He said turning around and kissing my forehead. I nodded in his chest and we stood like that for a moment.

" What are you cooking?" I asked

" Your favourite sandwiches and cold coffee." He said and I looked at him with a big smile.

" My morning couldn't get any better." He chuckled and again went on cooking. Giving him a peck I walked in my bathroom and got ready for the day.

I dressed in a white dress that ended just below my knees and matched it with a pair of black stilletos. After applying minimal amount of makeup I walked outside.
