[The others called for a bridge, so Undertone activated it. Then the others drove in, laughing and talking with each other as they got out/off of their rides, allowing them to transform.]
[As Breakdown did, he felt something in his Subspace, prompting him to open it and take out... A guitar?]
Breakdown: Uh...
Miko: Sorry dude, must've left it in the back seat. [Miko said. Breakdown preceded to give it to her.]
Optimus Prime: Autobots, prepare to– [He began, then he thought about the kids. He didn't think it would be a good idea to leave them alone on the ship.]
Hot Rod: Roll out? [Hot Rod finished with a question.]
[Optimus shook his helm.]
Optimus Prime: You will remain here. Ratchet, you will come with me. Chromia, we will be outside communication range for some time, so I'm putting you in charge. [Optimus instructed.]
Miko: Dude, you're the biggest, you should be the boss! [Miko whispered to Breakdown eagerly.]
Breakdown: I don't think that's a good idea. [Breakdown replied.]
Chromia: Me!? B-But, where's Megatron? [Chromia asked nervously.]
Optimus Prime: Megatron went on patrol earlier, he will not return until later. [Optimus replied.]
Chromia: Can't we just wait for him to come back? [She asked.]
Optimus Prime: Perhaps, but I rather investigate sooner. For the moment, it is only reconnaissance. [Optimus stated.]
Hot Rod: Is it necessary for all of us to stay? We never used to stay behind. [Hot Rod noted.]
Optimus Prime: Much has changed over the last few weeks, and we all need to adapt. Ratchet, prepare to bridge us out. [Optimus said, and Ratchet did so.]
[Then the two left, leaving the others.]

[Optimus and Ratchet are walking in a canyon, following the Decepticon signal. The place is currently covered in fog.]
Ratchet: What do you think we'll find? [Ratchet asked.]
Optimus Prime: I am unsure. But I believe that it may involve Dark Energon, seeing that Elita-1 has managed to obtain some. [Optimus mused.]
[As they got closer, they began to hear talking in the distance. Looking up, they saw them on a ledge further away. To prevent blowing their cover, the two hid behind some rocks underneath the ledge, then listened in.]
Elita-1: Thrust and Six Shot... Two powerful warriors. This will work perfectly~ [She purred as she caressed their faces.] Experiment one was a success, now experiment two. [She said, standing up.]
[She took out two shards of Dark Energon, then stabbed one in each of their frames, keeping one for herself. After a moment, they slowly got up, gargling and hissing, and soon, they began to attack the Vehicons.]
Vehicon: Hey! We're not the enemy! [One Vehicon exclaimed as he began to fight Thrust.]
Vehicon: Stop this very instant! [Another ordered, dodging Six Shot.]
