Separated Twins

As our battle with the Entente Alliance ended with them retreating and us being heavily wounded

I woke up to see, that I was in the medical area. All bandaged up, in a bed that was just to the left of Tanya next to an opened window

"What happened?" I asked, my voice hoarsed and I was still disoriented

"We got into a fight with those alliance fuckers and successfully intercepted them but not getting heavily wounded ourselves." Tanya said turning her head to look at me with a smile

Our eyes met and I couldn't help but let out a laugh

"What are you laughing about?" She asked confused

"It's just that you look horrible... Pffft Hahahaha-"

"I could say the same to you. Hahahahaha"

After we woke up, a nurse came in and was shocked to see that we were awake then bolted out of the room maybe calling for a doctor

Not long after, the nurse came back with a doctor in tow

After doing some medical checks, I heard the doctor say "They are alright. Tired and beat up but alright."

After getting the green sign from the doctor, we both were instantly asked to pack up our things and head to the train to the capital

We asked why but were only given "Command's orders!"

We didn't pry anymore and just went to the train with all our stuff

As we both got cozy in the room, I pulled out Sir Quackington getting a sigh from Tanya as she shook her head and asked "Why do you have to bring that toy with you everywhere you go?"

I just shrugged and said "Why not?"

"Because, it will make you look like a child! No one will take you seriously." She said

"So what if they think of me as a child... I'll just use it to my advantage." I said with a smile as I hugged Quackington

She sighed and said "That is true... Nevermind."

I giggled at my victory

"What do you think, they want us back in the capital?" Tanya asked looking out the window

"If my memory is correct then... They might promote us or give us something...? Those of the two... I think?"

"You think?"

"Hey, I just said what I thought was right."

"You might not be wrong."

"Then let's just hope for the best then... Now help me put on a new suit on Sir Quackington."

"...Fine..."

As we arrived at the station, we were immediately escorted to the hq while our things were sent to the place we were staying at

As we arrived at the hq, we were immediately seated at an office then a high ranking army official came in and started to explain why we were here

He said that because of our distinguished war service during the north from early, we were awarded the silver winged assault medal

Among the medals of the empire this one holds the most value and as a bonus Tanya and I were given a second name

"Tanya The Pure Silver and Olivia The Iron Butterfly"

We were also given a ceremony for it as well to raise morale and what not

As we lay in the same bed, cuddling "Why did you have to get the cool nickname?" I asked

"What do you mean?"

"Don't play dumb. Pure Silver!"

"Give it a rest Ollie, we still need to head the hr, tomorrow and I'm tired from today's festivities as well."

"I will not give it a rest!"

"Shh... It's time to sleep Ollie. Close your eyes and sleep."

"Ugh... Fine."

We were transferred to the rear lines...

Tanya and I looked at each other and in our eyes, we were having a party

"Lt. Tanya was requested to be a technology inspector. Lt. Olivia will be transferred to the rhine front."

"May we ask why? Why can't both of us be transferred to the same place. Why am I going to the rear lines?;I believe when we joined, my sister asked for us not to be separated. Which was granted." Tanya said, as we both donned a serious look on our face

'So these are the receivers of the silver winged assault medal. The Pure Silver and The Iron Butterfly. Though Iron Butterfly sounds weak, it can be dangerous if you lower your guard around that name especially if she is a silver winged assault medal receiver.'

"It was the choice of the higher ups. We need more hands in the rhine front and one sorcerer to test a new operational orb."

Tanya wanted to say something but I beat her to it "It can't be helped. I'll just wait for you at the rhine front, so don't worry about me and finish the inspection, okay?" I said with a smile

Tanya looked at me as if I was insane then looked to the army official then back

She couldn't help but just sighed and turned to the official

We saluted and said "Understood."

"Before you go, I also have to tell you that even though, you are assigned to be transferred to the rhine front, you are to be hidden from the enemy. You will be given a new type of gun when you arrive there and further instructions as well."

I saluted and said "Yes sir!"

'Tanya Degurechaff wants to go to the front lines with her sister and Olivia Degurechaff is no different from her sister. I should tell this to the higher ups'

As we stood there on the station saying our goodbyes

"Don't die before I get there, you here?!" Tanya said with a smirk

"Not planning on dying from the start anyways." I said hugging her

As we were treasuring this moment, we heard the whistle calling us to board the train

As we pulled out of the hug

"See you later?" I asked with a smile

"Yeah, ollie. See you later." Tanya said with a reassuring smile

As we boarded our trains, looking back to see one another about to board

We gave each other one final smile and went to a compartment

As I settled in the compartment, locking it so no one can enter

I pulled out Sir Quackington and looked out of the window to see that we were about to leave the station

I petted my millionaire duck and said "Let's make a name for ourselves, yeah? What do you think Quackky?"

"..."

"Yeah, I think so too. So Tanya wouldn't be ashame to call me her sister."
