Tanya was busy, enjoying the food and mingling with nobility. While, I was just waiting for my chocolate cake to arrive. Playing my guitar with whatever melody I can think off

"That is a beautiful piece, Major." I looked up to see it was one of the barons here

"You praise me too much, Baron. I was only playing with the sounds is all." I said with a smile

"Nonsense, it was absolutely beautiful. I didn't know the Major can play with instruments." One of the noble men said

I didn't say anything but just smiled and laughed

"Here is the main course, Majors. Fish for Major Degurechaff and Steak for Major Olivia." The waiter said, as he placed the food in front of us

"And a chocolate cake for Major Olivia." He placed the cake to the side

We said our thanks and dig in. Tanya was making conversation with the noble men while I enjoyed my steak and cake

As I was busy enjoying my food, I suddenly had a thought 'Wait... Tanya and I graduated from the war college as one of those 12 knights thingies... They also added von to our names... Does that make us nobles?'

While I was busy with my inner struggles... If you can even count it as one, the waiter returned holding a telephone and said "A phone call for Majors Degurechaff."

I picked it up and said "Hello? Major Olivia Degurechaff speaking."

"This is Major General Rudersdorf speaking. Orders from the General Staff: Major Tanya and Olivia Degurechaff and the unit under their command are to assemble to the nearest army base immediately. Report back as soon as done." General Rudersdorf said in the other line

I just said "Orders received. From this moment on. Degurechaffs and all subordinates will assemble at the nearest army base immediately. Reporting back as soon as its done." ending the call

I sighed and quickly ate my food, as Tanya was asking me what was the call about. I just let her wait and ate my fill

After that, I said "That tastes good... We and the others need to report to the nearest base asap. Orders from the General Staff." then grabbing my coat and hat, and tipping the waiter a good amount of money

"Miss Olivia?" I heard a voice, as I was donning my hat and coat

I looked up to see a boy "Yes?" I said, looking at him

"I am Mathis Von Schmitz. Son of Duke Hans Von Schmitz. And I was wondering if you could-"

The boy didn't get to finish his sentence because my sister and all the older nobles jumped in saying that they have received orders and they must act on said orders as fast as possible

"Thank you for giving us such a wonderful time here. May your days be filled with happiness. Long Live The Empire." I said after my sister said her goodbye

As we were leaving, I didn't notice that the young boy from earlier was seething on his seat
