A Night Made Better

--- Ollie's POV ---

"Ollie? What happened?" Ava asked looking worried at my pathetic self holding a bottle of whiskey

"Just drinking, why you ask?" I said with a smile

"Give me that! You shouldn't be drinking in the first place, young lady." said Charlotte as she took the bottle

Annoyed I said "Hey! I was going to finish that!" I grumbled and laid down on the floor

"Do you want to talk about it?" Sophia asked which I said "Thanks for the offer but no... What's there to talk about anyways? Some spoiled bitch thought he was high and mighty, tried to make himself look more important and better than me and got himself beat up for it. I would say that was an amazing night. If you don't include the dinner being ruined and a high chance of me being fired then yes. I think this was an amazing night."

"Who said you were going to be fired?" General Zettour asked looking confused

"I just assumed, I was going to be fired because of what I did." I said to him

"You are not going to be fired, Olivia. You're too much of an important asset to get rid off." General Zettour said with a smile

I looked at him shocked and asked "Did you just make a joke?"

"Too much?" He asked, to which I nodded and said "A bit."

He laughed wholeheartedly making Charlotte slap his arm and said "Don't say that to the girl. You make it seem like she's a piece of equipment."

I laughed at their antics and said "Though, I enjoy your banter. I want to know what's going to happen?"

"Well, for starters The Emperor wants to give you something for what has happened tonight and the general staff are planning to send you back to the rhine along with some troops for you and your sister to train alongside your troops." General Zettour said

'God damn it! I'm starting to question myself if joining the army was a good idea and that stuff.' I thought to myself

I got up from where I laid and saluted "Major Olivia Von Degurechaff. I wait for further instructions." I said with a smile

"Good. Now! I understand you didn't get to eat much, so how about you come with us and have dinner?" General Zettour asked

"I don't know, Sir?" I said being shy

"I made chocolate cake." Charlotte said

"You had me at cake." I said with a smile

--- Next Morning ---

Last night was amazing and the cake was delicious and I slept like a baby too. It would be a 10/10 night for me if only I didn't have to wake up 6 in the morning to get ready and go to the palace at 8, to see the emperor

I sighed as I was walking through the royal halls and said "This better be a good reward for the shit I had to put up last night."

The doors opened and I walked towards the royal family and bowed "I greet the royal family."
