PUSHING UP DAISIES

Gathered in the Hastings living-room, Lucas wiped a hand over his mouth before speaking to the group gathered in concern, wondering just where Haley had gone, what she'd done "Guys, it's more than just drinking."

"What are you taking about, Lucas?" Hanna frowned as they turned to him, watching him stand by the porch door.

"She had Spencer's pills." He admitted and their eyes widened "She didn't take them, she called me and I got rid of them."

Hanna swallowed thickly "But she wanted to— She wanted to kill her self again?"

He nodded with a shaky sigh "I think so."

"What do we do?" Emily turned to look between her friends desperately before focusing on Hanna "Do we call your mom?"

"I-I don't know." The blonde admitted, knees quivering as she fought to remain standing "I don't know what the hell to do."

Aria placed her hand on the girls arm "I think we need to call your mom."

"And the cops." Toby admitted, looking between the group "They can help find her."

Hanna nodded, swallowing thickly as she pulled out her phone only for it to beep. Spencer looked to her hopefully "Is it Haley?"

"No." She exhaled shakily, holding out her phone "It's 'A'."

With a frown, Spencer took the phone as Aria and Emily peered over each shoulder and the latter began to read it out loud "I always thought Emily was the weakest link—"

"—turns out it's Haley." Aria continued "Better find the bitch..."

"Before she's pushing up daisies." Spencer finished "'A'."

Hanna looked around the pale faced group with furrowed eyebrows "I don't get it. Flowers?"

Lucas met her gaze solemnly, eyes filled with dread "It means dead, Hanna."

The Marin girl's breath left her before she recovered and grabbed her phone "Okay, we don't have time for the cops. We're gonna find my sister. Now."

Splitting up, the group formed pairs as they spread out around Rosewood and Hanna rifled through her sisters bedroom for any clue as to where she had gone, planned. Her mother nor Alison were home thankfully, and she wasn't sure where they were, but she couldn't think about it. Not right then.
