Gathered at the new and improved Brew, Haley and Spencer caught up the girls on their experience with the kiln and Emily's eyes widened as she looked from the Marin girl next to her to Spencer who sat across the table "Wait. So the knife you guys and Caleb found was covered in blood?"
Aria frowned "What, Mona's blood?"
"Yeah." Spencer nodded.
"Well, we assume so." Haley sighed "But any of our prints could have been on it."
Hanna slumped back into the couch beside her "Thank God you got rid of it."
Emily looked between the girls "Do we think Holbrook planted it?"
"Well, you vouched for him." Aria turned to Hanna "You still think he's a good guy?"
She sighed, sharing a look with Haley "I'm not so sure anymore."
"Tell them." Haley encouraged.
"I bailed on my college visit to go track down Holbrook's dad. And that whole family emergency thing is a lie." Hanna admitted "I mean, Holbrook could still be around. He could have planted it."
Spencer frowned "You should have called us last night, Hanna. As soon as you got home."
The twins shared a look as the blonde defended "Well, it was late."
"Wait a second." Aria frowned "So if Alison's 'A' and Holbrook's on her side, they could pin Mona's murder on us, couldn't they?"
"I don't know. I have to get home." Spencer grabbing her purse before she spotted the large enevelope addressed to Paige sticking out of Emily's "Em, do you want me to drop that off in the mail on my way?"
"I'm good." She gave a quick smile "I'll go later."
Spencer raised an eyebrow, glancing to the others "If it's something you're having trouble letting go of, we can do it for you."
"This is not holding on. This is strictly here's your stuff. I promise." Emily assured "I found, like, three pairs of her swim goggles, and some of her CDs in my car."
Haley looked to her "Are you still going for spring break?"
"I thought that Paige asked for some space." Hanna mused.
"She did, so I'm not." Emily sighed and got to her feet "My shift's about to start."
Haley followed suit "I'm out, too. I have practice."
