This poem was kind of inspired by the writing style of the character Sayori from the video game Doki Doki Literature club— a huge inspiration for how I wish to be able to write. That game is beautifully written, and I adore all of the work that went into it
Let me be the rain
That washes your worries away
Let me be the sun
That appears on a cloudy day
Let me be the rainbow
That fades out all of the gray
Let me be the wind
That blows away all your pain
Let me be the one
Who can make everything okay
