Saellyn was speechless while roaming her eyes around the mansion in front her. Bukod sa gusto niyang matulala sa laki nito, gusto niya ring suminghap sa ganda ng mansyon. The exterior design is very elegant, halatang bilyones ang ginastos para lang maging ganito ito kaganda.
"This is y-your place?" she asked.
Tumawa ang lalaki sa reaksyon niya, 'saka nito tinanggal ang pagkakakabit ng seatbelt niya. "Hmm, it's my house."
Napakurap siya nang ilang beses. "I thought you're going to take me in your condo, or somewhere, like you know, a place to stay. Not a literal mansion."
"Why would I take you to my condo? What are you? My fling?" He grabbed her nape gently as he kissed her forehead. "This will be our house when we got married."
Natatawa niya itong pinakatitigan. "Ikaw lang ang taong kilala kong atat magpakasal. We just met weeks ago, hmm?"
"And?" He rolled his eyes in a manly way. "Kahit nga kahapon lang tayo nagkakilala papakasalan pa rin kita agad kinabukasan."
She stared at Dagger unbelievably when he got off from the car, umikot ito papunta sa pwesto niya at 'saka siya pinagbuksan. "Let's go, baby. I'll cook for dinner."
Tinanggap niya ang kamay nitong nakalahad at bumaba na rin ng kotse. Lumapat agad ang mga mata niya sa mansyon, mas gumanda ito nang tuluyan na silang makalapit. "You don't have maids or guards here?"
He shook his head. "I hire people once in a week to clean the whole house, and everything here is automatic and connected to smart technologies. I'm not a fan of letting people stay inside my house."
Hindi na siya nakaimik dito dahil naging abala na ang mga mata niya sa paghanga sa mansyon na ngayon ay nasa harapan niya na. It looks like a castle already especially with the touch of gold blended with white paint.
"Let's go inside, baby. I'll order clothes for you so you can change while I'm preparing for dinner."
Tulalang tumango siya sa lalaki na natawa lang sa ekspresyon ng mukha niya. This is her first time seeing a mansion this big and it's normal for her to react this way. Pakiramdam niya nga ay nalulula siya sa laki nito.
SAELLYN decided to wear a white spaghetti strap top and partnered it with a comfortable white cotton jogger pants. Dagger bought it for her, seems like he already planned bringing her to his house even before inviting her over.

Kung ito siguro ang bahay niya, baka mamatay na siya sa hilo makarating lang sa gusto niyang puntahan.
Her lips curved into a smile when she saw Dagger in the kitchen, cooking for their dinner. He looks so handsome doing all the work with his black apron on.
"What are you cooking?" she asked.
Pagkalingon nito ay agad itong ngumiti sa kaniya. "My own recipe. Why?"
"Wow, really?" Kumapit siya sa braso nito at bahagyang dinungaw ang niluluto nito. "That smells niceee. When did you learn to cook?"
"Ever since I was a kid. I just decided to take another course in college with Xord after we graduated from our main, under this field," sagot naman nito sa kaniya na ikinatango niya.
"That's nice. It looks delicious." Nakangiti siyang sumandal sa counter at bahagya pang pumalakpak. She gained a laugh from Dagger with what she did.
"Sit first baby, I'll prepare the food within few minutes." Marahan siya nitong hinila at binuhat paupo sa high stool chair. Hinalikan pa siya nito sa labi bago tuluyang humiwalay sa kaniya.
Matiyaga na lang siyang naghintay habang pinapanood itong gumalaw sa kusina. Just like what he said, after few minutes, he brought two plates before placing it on the table. Excited naman siyang pumalakpak sa tuwa. "Thank you, hehe."
He sat down beside her as he pulled her chair closer. "You're welcome, baby."
She used the knife and fork to slice the meat before bringing it inside her mouth. "Nom nom," she uttered after eating a piece of meat. Napangiti siya sa sarap no'n. The seasonings perfectly blended on the meat's texture, she almost fell in love with the feeling.
"Is it good?" natatawang tanong ng lalaki habang hinahaplos ang pisngi niya.
She nodded multiple times before giggling. "Yes, super."
"I'll cook for you everyday once I become your boyfriend," dagdag ng lalaki na ikinalingon niya rito.
"Then be my boyfriend," diretsyo at walang preno niyang sabi.
Gulat siya nitong pinakatitigan. "Saellyn."
She stared at him seriously. "I'm serious."
"Saellyn," pagbabanta nito.
"Hindi ako nagbibiro. Tayo na!" masigla niyang sabi atsaka muling nilantakan ang pagkain. She didn't bother looking at Dagger again who's still staring at her.
"Are you saying this because of the food?" he asked.
Agad naman siyang umiling, pero kalaunan ay tumango rin. "Ahm, yes, and no? Yes kasi masarap ka magluto, no kasi gusto talaga kita kahit hindi ka magaling magluto."
Nabitawan nito ang kutsarang hawak sa sagot niya. He massaged the bridge of his nose for few seconds before glancing back at her. "You're not allowed to take back what you just said after this."
She nodded. "Hmm. Promise." Nginitian niya ito nang maubos ang pagkain.
"Saellyn, I'm being serious right now. You're not going to say that you're joking right? Because I'm fucking trembling inside right now," he added.
Ilang beses siyang tumango. "I'm also serious--"
She gasped when he pulled her gently to kiss her lips. Gigil nitong pinisil ang magkabilang baywang niya atsaka siya pinakawalan. "You're really mine? Don't take that back, okay? You're fucking mine from now on."
She can feel the happiness in his voice, he's also trembling a little while holding her. Parang may humaplos sa puso niya sa reaksyon ng lalaki. Kahit sino naman yata mabibigla kung sagutin ka ng babaeng hindi mo naman nililigawan.
But she doesn't need to explain it for Dagger of course, they both know what they want. They're not kids to ask for clarifications.
"Calm down, Dagger, you're squeezing me," natatawa niyang sabi habang hinahaplos ang matipuno nitong braso.
"I'm sorry." He carefully loosen his grip on her body, hawak-hawak pa rin nito ang magkabilang baywang niya at bahagya iyong hinahaplos. "You don't know how happy I am right now, Saellyn."
He kissed her cheeks in a very gentle way, telling her that his feelings are genuine. "I'll do everything to be the best boyfriend for you, baby, I promise. Hinding-hindi ako gagawa ng bagay na ikagagalit mo. Please tell me also if my actions are bothering or making you upset, I'll change whatever flaws I have for you."
Her cheeks reddened with that. Nakangiti siyang tumango sa lalaki at hinalikan ito sa labi. "Okay, love."
Kumawala ang tawa sa bibig niya nang sunggaban muli siya nito ng yakap. That moment, she's certain that this is the best night she ever had, with the best man she ever met.
