THE OTHER WOMAN — LANA DEL RAY

The other woman will always
cry herself to sleep.

STEVE AND ROBIN quickly
drove across the lot in order
to get to their best friend.

"Shit, there!" Robin
pointed to the girl
who had tears running
down her cheeks.

"Jesus, what happened?"
Steve mumbled to himself
as he got out the car, pulling
the Wheeler into a hug.

"Ed.. Eddie.. he—"
She tried in-between
sobs.

"Shhh, it's okay,
wait until your
ready, Sades."

She just grasped his
shirt, Robin joining the
hug to hold the
sobbing girl.

Eddie and Chrissy
made their way across
the parking lot in his
beat-up van.

Sighing, he
slightly slapped the
steering wheel out
of anger.

It wasn't until
they drove past
the payphone that
the guilt finally
setting in.

Sadie Wheeler was crying
in the arms of Steve Harrington
and Robin Buckley.

She looked up at him
with mascara washing
her face with marks,
tears in her bloodshot
eyes as she said something
to Steve— something
he could not hear.

Steve nodded, to
whatever she said,
and they walked
back to his car.

"Is she okay?" Chrissy's
sweet voice spoke from
next to him.

"Uh, from the
looks of it," He spared
her a glance, "hell no."

"That was Sadie! Oh
no." She sighed.

"You know Sadie?"

"Yeah, we're like,
childhood best friends,
and we still are
really close,
but no one knows."
She explained.

Eddie's heart sank
into his stomach. The
reason Sadie was so
upset is because, A.
she's jealous. B. Chrissy's
her best friend.

He realllyyy fucked up.

"Oh.. shit." He mumbled.
