THE GROUP OF five hid underneath Skull Rock, attempting to hide from all of the Demo-Bats, as Dustin would call them, that were currently flying over them in herds.
Eddie's hand gripped Sadie's shaky hand tightly.
After it went quiet, the group decided to climb out.
"Oh... okay." Robin's shaky voice spoke, as she looked to the sky.
"I swear, if I die fighting these bat-thingys, I'm gonna kill myself in the afterlife." Sadie sighed as she followed Robin out.
After everyone was out, Eddie grabbed her by the waist, pulling her to his chest. "Hey, you're not gonna die. I'll make sure of it."
She smiled, "My knight in shining armor, huh?"
"That was close." Robin gulped.
The couple broke apart, Eddie agreeing. "Too close."
Steve slowly wobbled out, but stopping when he ran into a wall. "Oh, sh... shit."
"Steve!" Sadie ran to his side.
"I'm fine. I'm fine." His cracked voice spoke.
"Obviously not." Sadie looked with concerned eyes.
"No, no, no. You're not. You're loosing blood." Nancy told the boy, helping him sit down so she could exam his wounds.
He uncovered them, and they all saw the pulsing, nasty wound.
"Oh my God..." Sadie gasped.
"Oh.." Robin walked over, Sadie turning her head to see Eddie glaring at Steve, heavily.
Nancy began tearing her pants to make a make-shift bandage, as Robin sat down next to Steve and Sadie.
"Okay.. So the good news here is I'm pretty sure wooziness is not a common symptom of rabies." Robin began.
