LOVE OF MY LIFE — QUEEN

I will be there by your side
to remind you, how I still
love you.

SADIE WAS SAT on
the hood of Steve's car
with Lucas next to her
as she watched Max
read off a letter to
Billy.

She hated coming
here, to his grave.
It always made her
sad, and even worse,
she hated watching
Max cry at it too.

"I'll be back."
She said to the
rest as she walked
over to where Max
sat, she had just finished
reading, and now was
just sobbing into her
hands.

"Hey, love."
Sadie smiled,
as she sunk down
to the girl.

"Sadie.."
Max cried,
as Sadie just
brought the girl
into her arms.

"I know, I know."
She ran her fingers
through Max's red locks.

"I hate myself
for it." She sobbed,
as Sadie made her
look at her.

"Hey, it is not
your fault, Max.
Billy did what
he did to protect
us. He loved you.
He told me all
the time he wished
that he could fix
you two's relationship,
he just didn't know how."
She spoke, tears of her own
building up as she remembered.

"Really?" Max looked
up to the girl.

"Yeah, really."
She smiled.
"And I blame
myself too, you know?
If I had ran faster to him,
or pulled him away, or
worked harder to get
the Mind Flayer out
of him. I dunno..
but I know how you feel."

Max opened her
mouth to reply, but
before she could, the
clouds turned, the
girl that was in Sadie's
arms disappeared in
wisps of smoke, and
it the graveyard
suddenly looked
like it was from the
Thriller music video.

"What the hell?" She
looked around, standing
up.

"Sadie..." A voice
that she recognized
all too well called out.

"No.." She whispered.

"Sadie, you don't
know how long I've
waited to hear those
words." Billy spoke,
as he came into view,
his wounds from July
4th on full view.

"Billy?" She gasped,
her lip quivering.

"Waiting so very
long." He spoke,
sending shivers
down her spine.
