" I guess I better go find my mom and wish her a happy New Year" Gabriella stated. 
"Yeah, me too. I mean, not your mom. My mom... and dad" Troy said stumbling over his words, "I'll call you. Hand me your phone and I'll program my number in" 
Gabriella looked taken back, sure he was cute and all, but she wasn't about to give him her phone, "No... that's okay" 
"Are you sure? I'm a great guy" Troy winked. 
"I'm sure, I gotta go find my mom" Gabriella said before rushing away to find her mom. 
Troy frowned, he thought he had every girl fawning over him. It was like that at East High he wasn't used to not getting a girl's number.
